Can i check if the inner grey shin will pop out like the ss38 original version, when you move the feet? None of the youtube review talk about it.

If you swivel them left to right on their ankle tilts, then no. The legs are as solid as a rock.

I DID notice what looked like a part of the ratchet joint had (possibly) escaped one of the the upper leg joints (I counted the clicks soon after and one of only has 3 clicks, add opposed to the four on the other leg). I've no idea how it managed to pop out though.

 

Can i know what mechanism they use to make this inner shin so solid to stay on lower leg?

By looking at my SS38, i can only say maybe wj make this peg bigger.

 

Does his gun store under the hitch in alt mode? I could have swore I saw a post about it in a thread about the normal size version of the mold. I haven't seen anyone do that in videos though (both normal sized and OS).

I'm surprised Bits and Bots hasn't done such a review. I wish youtubers would start doing comparison reviews, including technical (with the official figures) and in price (with done of the more common sellers such as Sirtoys, Showz, TFDirect, Alien Express, Ebay, etc). That would give a general price, and show to us if the such KOs are worth it or not.

Thanks, still hard for me to understand from your pictures. So, it has a locked mechanism that the inner shin wont come out easily?

 

It uses a tab to plug into the side of the leg. I'm at work now, but when I get home I can try to get you a picture.

 

Thanks, this would be helpful, as the only part that keeps me from getting this is there are no assurance that they strengthen that part.

 

Ive transformed mine twice and, everything is snug. I'd assume it kicks the shit out of the voyager.

It doesnt really transform too well with the MPP10 hands on it, though. If you notice, reviewers switch to the toy hands.

 

Sorry it took so long, had a 11.5-hour work day yesterday. Anyway, the tab I've circled in picture A slots into the slot I've circled in picture B. It's a bit hard to see, but I've circled the spot how they connect in picture C. The connection is solid enough that I can pick the figure up by leg panel and it won't pop out.

 

Yep, that is the same connection that the original uses too. On the original, it doesn't work as good, move the feet few times, it will pop out. I assume it works good on this KO then?

I just got mine. Looking under the truck mode I noticed a couple of slots under the robot feet. There are tabs on the sides of the rifle that fits perfectly into those slots, so it can be securely stored under the truck. It's very nice, and much better than how the rifle could be stored under the truck on the offical SS-38. The instruction didn't appear to indicate this, which is kind of strange. I didn't look very closely but I think I only saw it indicate the rifle being plugged on top the trailer hitch joint itself. Storing underneath is so much better, and fills the void in the trailer area pretty well.

Overall I think this OSKO is great. The modifications pretty much fixes the few issues I had with the official SS-38. I've been happy with every OSKO I've gotten from Weijiang, and this might be the best one yet.

 

I didn't see any pics of this with the Weijiang MPP-10 trailer, so I'll just put a few here. Although the truck is a bit bigger than MPP-10 and M-01, I think it works pretty well.

Can anyone recommend good eBay sellers for this guy? There’s so many, I could go through their feedbacks but if someone has had a good personal experience I’d rather use that for reference.

 

In general bababobo00712 and netcow are trusted on ebay. I'm not sure if they carry this one though. The rest of the Chinese sellers on ebay are probably hit or miss. ShowZ Store is also very reliable and has great communications. I bought mine from them.
