Very surprised were getting a jet Shatter so early. Either way I'm hyped. Especially for Overload, I feel like he's gonna be top 5 of 2020 figures. Also, I really hope Shatter turns out great

I know it's the Nth version of the character in this line, but honestly jeep Bumblebee is the figure that's got me most excited from that list. Just need High Octane to show up at some point now and I'll have all the Movie Bumblebees I'll need

OH SHIT, they’re doing the Wreckers? Maybe this means Studio Series will start to focus more on DotM characters after Devastator.

Jet Shatter and Jeep Bee are a nice surprise as well!

 

High hopes for Roadbuster. It's about time he got himself a weaponised car in his full glory.

 

Here’s hoping. Even 3rd party attempts have been pretty lacklustre.

Enough to last till 2021 even. That's pretty impressive when you think about how much of a success Studio Series has been to last this long.  

 

Unpopular opinion perhaps but they really have not been focusing on ROTF. I know Devastator is coming and that is great but it is one set of characters. Yes it is a large set but just hear me out. Aside from Devastator there have only been 4 ROTF exclusive sets with one being a repaint. A lot of figures can be interchanged with what movie they are from.

ROTF Starscream, Ironhide and M1 Ratchet are some examples. Ratchet does not need a specific version of himself from ROTF because it is indistinguishable from the M1 version. Sideswipe and Soundwave are getting DOTM versions before their ROTF versions and Megatron got his DOTM release before the first movie's. We are even getting Shockwave before the Fallen.

It is not that I want DOTM untouched but I think things should go in order. I get that this was not how this line started but I think it could benefit from some order. In fact, aside from Devastator and the obligatory BM figure, it feels like HasTak is throwing darts at character names while blindfolded. I also have another concern. It is very possible that the Wreckers could go unfinished. Remember that the Dreads and Dinobots are still unfinished. I sincerely believe they will complete Devastator only because he combines.

 

It'll be interesting to see how Jet Shatter turns out. Wonder if it'll be similar to how everyone liked Copter Drift even though it's the vehicle mode that got the least amount of screen time.

I’m only interested in roadbuster if we get all three wreckers. Individually they weren’t my favorite designs by a long shot. Actually Leadfoot is really cool IMO. Jet shatter is probably gonna be cool but @Lukelbs already made me an awesome custom so I’m not dying to get her. Jeep bee will probably be fun! And of COURSE I’m super stoked to see Overload.

Anyway here’s your daily reminder that MPM3 is cool as heck I painted the eyes and a few small details so he looks less dead. I’m personally happy they don’t do light piping anymore but then they need to paint the damn eyes!
