Then dont buy the toy and go talk about something you want to get instead of looking like someone that is 1 step away from walking into hasbro with a rifle.

Such stupid, stupid arguments. See it's bullshit like this that turns fans away from message boards, away from social media. Prime in G1 had blue hands. Earthrise Prime is obviously homaging G1 Prime. Therefore, it's completely understandable why a G1 fan would want Earthrise Prime to have blue hands.

Hasbro has been known to make running changes like the battle mask for Energon Prime, et al. This didn't come from sucking up to whatever decision was made nor being an apologist for a corporation that probably gives not a damn about you unless you went viral on social media making a Wookie noise thereby advertising their product. These changes come from complaints.

And complain away! This isn't some freaking appreciation thread. And maybe, just maybe if there's enough noise, maybe Haskaromy will give us blue hands.

They didn't give us blue hands for POTP Optimus but they gave us a battle mask for Fatimus Prime. POTP Starscream eventually got the fixed back and Elita 1 eventually came with the correct feet. Blue hands are not impossible.

comments like this also turn fans away from message boards and social media. nobody is saying that people shouldnt be able to complain, but being called an apologist for understanding the technical reason for why the blue hands had to be changed (and a comment like that from a moderator of the forums no less) is basically telling people they arent allowed to be rational or else they will be called apologists or boot lickers

it’s the absolutely childish temper tantrums that people throw about how hasbro is disrespecting them or trying to screw the fans that gets old

absolutely... there is a difference in complaining and trashing warden and hasbro over a decision they had to make for rational reasons.

Does it suck......... yes it absolutely sucks but they explained to us what happened and they dont deserve to be bashed for it.

Back in middle school I skipped out on several of the mouthed Energon Primes just because I knew the mouthplate version was coming thanks to these boards. Still have my childhood copy of him, it's really an underrated figure...an underrated figure that looked 10x better with a faceplate instead of that weird little mouth. I think it's better to be vocal about a flaw on a figure before it goes to market as that gives them time to make a change. So yeah, being vocal about not liking some of Hasbro's choices is more productive than just automatically assuming its something that can't be changed.

Oh yes, I certainly look like I want to shoot the Hasbro designer team with that single one "intense" post I made about this topic.

So... about talking what I want to get, how about some meds for you so you can calm the f* down?

There's a fine line between complaining and bitching. Look behind you and you might just be able to make it out, it's a ways back.

The technical reasons are known. We already know what John Warden said. Acting like it's impossible that a change won't be made and trying to be the mouthpiece for Hasbro is more of a turn off. You have the "don't like it, don't buy it mentality". I have the "make some noise and see if Hasbro throws a bone like they have in the past mentality". I am turning a positive into a negative, you are arguing for something you are going to buy regardless and giving the take it or leave it approach.

You're allowed to have an opinion and I'm not acting as is if you can't. Think how you want. Just because others don't agree doesn't mean you have to boil it down to some argument.

Of course. And I'm aware of constructive criticism. I prefer the hands to be blue. I understand the fans that want the hands to be blue. I'm also aware of running changes as recent as last year to years prior.

And I get that constant bitching can get annoying. I read more than you guys do given what I do here. However when I see something simple such as wanting blue hands devolve into a seemingly corporate interaction between fans where none of them work for Hasbro and boil it down to right and wrong...uh... come on guys. Just agree to disagree.

For those that want grey hands there is this thread:

Temper tantrums online aren’t the way to achieve change (not referring to you), would I prefer the hands to be blue? Yes. Do I think hasbro is trying to screw fans by making the hands gray? No. Does that make me an apologist? No. I encourage people to voice complaints rationally rather than the “hasbro suxxx” type of tirade.

As much as they hate products leaking out early, the advantage of the leaks was ironing out product flaws early on. That's how it was during the Armada-early movie years.

I definitely want blue hands on my G1 Prime, so I'll be buying whatever future blue replacement hands that are made, from whichever KO company that's the first one to produce them.

This this this. Look at what happened with Unicron. They fixed his hand articulation, they gave us the beard, the mini Autobot shuttle and Hot Rod/Galvatron figures. All things that people were asking for in the Unicron thread on this very website. And wow, look at that, they all became reality. Hasbro is listening to us.

I'm worried that the cost-cutting Brian Goldner referred to not long ago has begun with Earthrise. Once I saw the hollow gaps in Hoist and Grapple in the renders then seeing them displayed at NYCC... hoping they don't feel cheap in-hand but they seem more hollow than SIEGE figures.

This is a completely different animal than Unicron was. They were trying to get Unicron made so they went the extra mile.... they dont have the budget for blue hands already.... and the figure is in the process of being made (prime) so they arent just going to change it. Now maybe they'll do something else with the mold and throw us a bone and put blue hands on it so we can swap them .. thats something that maybe could happen one day.

I thought you loved the threads drama of being dumpster fires though... at least you said that in the Unicron thread.
