And TFCon is in 10, I believe. Unless it's a swerve, I think it'd be a safe bet to say we're going to see our update there

Not really, I think the differences are all cosmetic- I'd expect the Youth Version would have "vent" decals on his chest and "pipe/gauge" decals on his waist. And his face would be purple instead of grey.

Well, there is one thing, but I don't think its possible to do- cartoon and comic Motormaster has his head in a grey box, almost like a second helmet. Toy Motormaster though, the enclosure his head is in goes all the way out to either shoulder, kinda like Mixmaster or Huffer. But like I said, I assume the transfomation would preclude that.

It will be interesting to see since there is such little difference between the two version otherwise compared to the limb bots.

 

It may literally be paint colour and face version. That'd be the cheapest option for XTB too. Roll on TFCon!

 

I don't know why everybody is counting on reveals at TFCon

XTB had literally nothing at TFCon Toronto this year. Maybe that means they'll have stuff in Reston, but there's no reason to count on it.

 

Finally got chance to transform Crackup and Flipout after them sitting there a few days. No major issues thanks to you guys. I did get the loose piece issue on Flipout, so just glued it in. Don't even know why it's a separate piece in the first place! Fortunately Crackup has solid headlights, and everything else seems good.

Baba just shipped Deathwish and Overheat, and I know things go downhill so it's fingers crossed time!

Just because ibot said October, and TFCon is in October. It's hope rather than expectation

 

I mean, partially hope, but I also think its a logical assumption. They said October, so any news is highly likely to line up with the major convention that month. At the very least, they'll be there selling G2 Deathwish and showing off the youth version Stunticons.

 

So is the G2 Deathwish a DC TFCON exclusive or no?

 

I think he’s become a normal release now.

 

Will be getting this and G2 Overheat, hopefully we'll get a Gravestone update at TF Con and a quick G2 digibash to follow.

That back box makes me all the more eager to see Gravestone. I can also spot G2 Beachcomber, Skids, Hubcap, Crosscut, and there’s a clearer look at toy Wildrider.

 

Also had this part replaced. Got kind of lucky replacing it. Below the pin that has to come out is another pin with 2 plastic pieces that hold it together. These pieces can be taken off with a bit of gentle handling so that pin is exposed and can be taken out. But then you still have to get the other pin out. Bashing it with a drill bit worked for me without breaking an entire Overheat. Also, you can decide to cut the plastic from the pin as that part has to be replaced

I love this Toy version of Crackup with the G1 Box art. Anyone know why the Toy Version of Flipout isn't up for pre-order yet?

He hasn’t been announced yet. I think the fact they haven’t shown him off yet is a potentially good sign that Gravestone is being worked on.
