Many months ago I found KO G1 Star Saber on the internet. It was this weird type of candy color KO that works exactly like the original toy. You can see how it looked in the last picture. Long story short I gave him new paintjob with some metallic blue paint. The biggest difference is the brainmaster which I painted in cartoon accurate colors. Oh yeah, he is missing the gun and he was missing the sword too, but I made new one out of some spare parts. I still need to give him some stickers tho.
I did the same thing way back when. It was actually one of my 1st customs. It's a great way to get a G1 looking Star Saber into a collection. Great paint work! This is beautiful!
Nice! To "flex" a little, I once found two G1 SS figures in Japan in a second hand place. The shop assistant allowed me to cannibalise one to make other complete, and then I paid around 20-40 dollars for a fully (if busted-up), box, with a fully complete G1 SS figure... The same place also sold me a fully boxed Twincast for peanuts too...
