Yeah, I suppose it looks off if thinking of it as a stock Countach. I just see it as a vanity spoiler, which is perfectly fitting for Sunstreaker.  

 

It’d be cool if they did a normal model version like with that convention exclusive Sideswipe that didn’t have any insignias.

 

I really liked it when the Diaclone repaints didn’t have insignias. Made them look like regular scale car models. Like Tigertrack. Now they’re doing more of a toy version with the insignia like MP-18B.

Either way I’m still hoping for a Sunstreaker plus toy release version with grey windows, painted details and Cordon’s head and shin parts for those that prefer that look. I want a plus version for my alt mode display.

And @Jdk504 Sunstreaker looks amazing with Prime in your display! I still haven’t gotten around to adding Prime to my Autobot shelf. I need to get on that.

 

I think that’d be really cool. Might motivate me to get him more. Along with a Diaclone red one.

 

Anyone know if MP-39's paint can be bought via an existing color or if a mix is necessary for a match?

 

I used a yellow gundam marker to touch up mine and the yellow matched up fine. I also used a white gundam marker to touch up white knicks on my mp44 and sideswipe+

 

Thanks. I plan on re-doing Sunny's faux chest and car hood so was hoping for as close a color match as possible. Do you have any pictures of the final result?

there is a KO...I think it's decent (I don't own the KO)....the logo is on crooked tho. There is a thread for it in the 3p section...you could get all the info on it there.

Wow. Times sure have changed (for the better). A year or two ago & earlier, a question like that on an official TT thread would have resulted in torches and pitchforks as replies, lol. Glad to see that isn't the case now.

That's kinda what I was worried about lol. I mean I would rather have the official. Call me a cheapskate if you want, but if I can get an almost identical figure for one third the price, well that's what I'm gonna go for isn't it

Since then Takara upped their prices and started making toys that literally fall apart for no reason. It's getting more understandable now.

That chrome does look pretty bad. Are you sure it's TT and not a knock off?
