How about at retail across multiple waves but the last wave gets short ordered and barely distributed?

 

What's haphazard about the way the Seacons are being released? Do you mean the way Pulse are handling it on their end or just the two-a-month format?

 

I've been nervous about waiting for Hasbro Pulse to put up the fifth and sixth Seacon, so I went ahead and pre-ordered from Ages Three And Up. I've never ordered from them, but I'm happy to have -hopefully- secured the final two.

They're pretty reliable. I've been ordering from them on and off for a few years, and their customer service is pretty good. Was planning to order my last two Seacons from there this weekend if Pulse doesn't offer them. Not that I want to pay a combined extra $10 for the figures plus $10 for the shipping over Pulse pricing, even though there's no tax when shipping to the USA, but i don't want to risk missing these last two.

I don't get why everyone is getting nervous about HTS not carrying the final Seacons. It wouldn't make sense at all. I'd say, be patient, they will go up at some point.

When, today? Or you’re talking about earlier in the year?

 

Earlier in the year and haven’t listed any of the other Seacons, I honestly don’t know if I’m even going to get my turtler and gulf from them, i am legitimately terrified

 

It was back in August going from my records on BBTS, and I think it may have been that same day later or the next day they pulled them. In the thread someone else started that got front page news where he claimed his order from BBTS was canceled (despite the fact not a single other person has verified this happening to them), another person contacted BBTS and posted about it. The rep said to their knowledge no pre orders had been canceled, and they do expect an initial shipment of those figures in (the first 2) but they can't guarantee it. If they end up not getting them on BBTS, than I'll prob cancel Seacons 3-6 I got on pre order on TF Source beings it doesn't sound like I'll be easily able to obtain them otherwise. Robot Kingdom may have been my back up, but after reading about the site hack this month and how they basically just told people the way to fix the problem was "click on the help button on your paypal account" I am no hurry to give them my business with that kind of customer service.

 

I emailed them a week ago about that. They claimed that they got the go-ahead from Hasbro to list them, then were informed shortly afterwards to take them down. However the customer service person believes that Hasbro will make them available once more after the initial release goes out, that's why they haven't been outright cancelled but rather in limbo.

Time will tell, but I'm not holding out hope.

"Thank you for reaching out to us. We apologize for the delay in responding to your email. Unfortunately, we do not have information on when or if we will be carrying the last two Seacons figures. We have to ask that you continue to check back on the website to see if they become listed. If there is anything else we can try to assist you with, please let us know.

Hasbro is the best at limited time exclusives!

 

So, how many of you who have sent letters have specifically said "if you can't give me a better answer, I'm going with your competition!"?

 

I don't know about Hasbro Pulse, but working in support I know I do not have a channel to direct that sort of feedback to. So it'd probably just go in to the same bucket we throw our enhancement requests...a black pit of despair and sorrow.

 

Don't even know what to think. This whole Seacons situation keeps getting weirder. Limited pre-order windows and no clue if they will even be carried. No guarantee pre-orders will be honored.

I have pre-orders spread between three different stores now. I'm tempted to just cancel everything and wash my hands of it.
