Oh man, a Botbots candy cane for them is so obvious, I can't believe they didn't do it already. Its other mode could be like... a rabbit? Yeah, I'mma go for a rabbit.

I got my Bakery Bytes today. I got the pack with the chainsaw and bonsai tree redecos and the cherry pie in the bubble spot. The cherry pie is adorable. I wanted him the most of the three Byte redecos. The mixer is my favorite. I love the swirly face design. The rolling pin would make a great scroll. Maybe a Torah scroll for Passover reading in the Season Greeters tribe. If I break down and buy a second set for more Lawn Leagues, I might repaint it myself.

I was supposed to get another Music Mob pack today too, but the driver scanned it out for delivery and now can't find it. SMH. The Pulse shop hasn't updated my Con Crew order, but Fed Ex has it already. It'll be here Tuesday along with my BBTS order of the Series 2 Blind Case.

    Got my two packs yesterday.

Just missing Mucker von Diggs, Grass Guzzler, Bum Sprout, Silent Shade, Pollinator, and Cavi T now. And Pixelfin, but that bastard is impossible to find...

The post office called me. They have found my package of Music Mob and will deliver it on Tuesday.

Still waiting for a BotBots basketball so I can reenact Optimus's dunk from "The Master Builders".

That's a redeco that's so obvious I would be quite surprised if it's not unveiled when Series 4 is.

So, I bought the "color change" botbots from Amazon. Only thing, I can't really find anything color changey about them. They have these white splats and when I rub them they become...the same white splats. I tried putting them in the fridge to see if they were too hot (I live in AZ and its still 90 here) but they didn't really change (maybe a little gray?) Are mine defective or is this just another poorly executed gimmick?

The color change does not work too well. It's only on Battersplatter and Flat Flour Face.

Yeah those are the two I have. Kind of disappointed, but to be honest I should have done my research first. Thanks for confirming!

I've only got one BotBot and that's mostly because of his name. Steve from Accounting.

Probably the best name of them all.

But you're really missing out on the craze, these guys are revolutionary to Transformers. Something different that we've sorely needed for such a long time.

Absolutely. I have loved most of the Transformers eras to some degree since I saw that first ad for Marvel's comic #1, but BotBots is just such a breathe of fresh air. Cyberverse, WFC and Studio Series are all based on or inspired by existing designs or stories, so it's very limiting for the design team. As much as I might like a lot of the other lines, it feels like all the creative passion and energy that the design team can't use on those other lines just exploded onto the shelves and created these little guys.

BotBots needs media so much. The expanded bios in the sticker book have these little moments in them that are just begging to be expanded on. Even if it's just chapter books, almost every single character seems to have a story worth telling. That's on top of the story of each Tribe that can be told.

They really put a lot of time and effort into this line, that's for sure. I'd definitely love a Botbots show of some sort - the passion that they put into the bios and characterization of each bot - you can tell it's a little more than a cash-in on the Shopkins craze.

He'll, I'm 34 and I'm obsessed with them. I haven't been a completionist in years, but I just can't help myself with Botbots, and I can't help but to come up with my own ideas for new characters and items they can transform into.

Steve is one of my favorites by far. Name alone, I made it a priority to get a pack that had him in it. He can't stand up on his own very well, but I love that face. It looks like he is about to have a breakdown from getting backed up at the office.

Not a completionist, but I'm 37 and love these guys as well. They make for pretty funny pictures and web comics (indirect plug) and I love some of the names for these guys. I'm still waiting on a piano metronome (the thing that goes back and forth to keep timing) that transforms into a robot mode with a pointed hat called Metro-Gnome.

But despite the designs and name creativity, it's a shame that only one brick and mortar store seems to be carrying them here in the US and its one store I don't have locally. Not to mention the way they pack them, it's not a line that is web purchase friendly considering it's a crap shoot which pack you might get. That's why I haven't bought the Arcade pack.

I wish more Bot Bots had hollowed out little areas for harder to fold out parts. I've lost track of how many times I had to take a thin file just to get an arm, leg, or head to pop out for robot mode.

As a friend of mine said, Steve looks like Optimus just dropped the property damage paperwork from the last skirmishes with the Decepticons in front of him just before quitting time.
