Headlights are kind of ugly in my opinion

Headsculpt is awesome, and the proportions looks great, but I don't know if he's good enough to replace my DotM one yet...

Such an ugly car and terrible robot design.  Soundwave looks like an afterthought.  And no, I\'m not a G1ner.

The CGI render Hasbro originally put out actually has the headlight pieces turned 180 degrees on the ball joints to face inward. Curious how that looks in hand.

But regardless, like most Studio Series figures to date, this blows all previous attempts out of the water.

I noticed that too. Hopefully it’ll still do that, but regardless, he still does look great. No faux chest is always a win.

Thank goodness they actually painted him silver!

Yep, headlights are definitely mistransformed there. And the faux car pieces with gas cap, etc. on his thighs look a bit odd right above the real ones on his shins. Paint detail on his face could be a bit sharper as well... maybe I'm just picky. Will wait for a review.

Edit: Oh, all the pics are screenshots from a video review. Good to know. :lol  Yep, I'll be passing on this guy. Seems like voyager is the sweet spot for Studio Series; I've picked up hardly any of the deluxes so far.

Never liked the proportions of the DOTM deluxe figure, and while it has been packed away for years, (I think) the shoulder area on that toy just didn’t have the greatest clearances for posing. Initial images make this look like a nice step up.

Edit: Laserbeak sure is something I guess?

He looks ok, especially as a more economical option for those that missed out on importing the Takara DOTM version (like me). But while Studio Series seems to favor mainly screen accuracy first, I honestly think we have too many primarily silver bots/cars in the movie lines already (Cogman, Sideswipe, Jazz...). I'd rather see a black Soundblaster repaint similar to Takara's repaint of the original DOTM mold in their TF4 Movie Advanced line.

They should be blue, not yellow.

    Otherwise? Excellent.

I'm not one to complain about kibble, but what the fuck is that backpack?! I know I won't be seeing it much as he will be displayed front side forward but jesus christ. What happened to the amazing backpack engineering we got in wave 5? Sideswipe and Barricade have some of the best kibble management I've ever seen!

He\'s got the sides of the chest mistransformed in robot mode, I think they flip around.

Sentinel Prime, Lockdown, Scorn, Strafe, Slug, The Fallen, Jolt, Ravage, Frenzy, Roadbuster, Leadfoot, Topspin, Que/Wheeljack, Sideways, Crosshairs, Hound, Galvatron, and I suppose Skids and Mudflap if we absolutely have to.

And, of course, Oreobot and Dispensor.
