Even TE comes out with the death version (TE-01S)? How come it is so popular all of a sudden?

That episode was very shocking for me, they mixed King Kong, Frankenstein and the hand of Addams Family, hahaha.

Seriously, I will wait to the v5 or v6, and then I will decide if I have to buy the v2 or not. Imaging battle damaged parts, shattered glass, etc.

 

I think V2 is out of stock and not easy to come by...

No problem man, but I would not recommend selling V2 because it has the clear windows that probably a V4 will not have. If you are into variants it would be awesome to have both. I kind of regret a bit, now, not having got a V1, because the die cast knees are a unique feature of that toy and while I am more enamored day by day I am starting to think about getting all the variants XD

 

Clear windows are VERY playable if you like prints, but white waist parts... ufff...

 

Is there an actual v4 being issued? What's changed from v3?

I was considering buying a v3 but I hate the painted windows. If it was just the windows I could probably deal, but it looks like they just sprayed the inside on the doors with windows and all.

Any chance of that being refined in a new version?

 

Think it's just the v3 so far. That's only recently been released.

It's more that the chest is made from that blue plastic and painted red. If you scratch some off you can see the blue underneath.

 

Ah, I see. Not sure I'm willing to wait for another version if there's no confirmation it's happening. Not with how quickly this guy is selling out everywhere.

Has anyone touched up the insides and been able to color match the red paint then?

 

Not sure i like the v3 windows as much as my v2, and i 100% agree its a bit silly they havent changed the grey piece under the grill to white, but top marks to TE for trying to refine things with each re issue. Not many would bother.

So I was able to model and 3D print his neck and made a bit taller for a bit more down neck articulation   just had to tweak the front side of his neck for clearance as it was hindering any further down moment even with the extra height.

It’s about ~1/8” taller, so you gain about ~1/8” more down movement.

*And yes he can still transform with it.

I did experiment with a taller neck which allowed for more down movement, but his neck started to look like a giraffe neck....so the ~1/8” extension was my compromise

Anyone have the contact info for Transform Element? The ratchet on the right arm of my figure is losing its ratcheting and the arm will droop and not hold a pose. That is with this just sitting on the shelf. Any help would be appreciated.

So for the idea of "Gotta Catch them all, TE01!" I'm down. I too would love to get them all. Especially V1 for reasons.
This mold is amazing. If it's screws, I can do it. If it's pins. I am terrified I'd screw it up. But swapping parts really appeals to me with this guy.

Still, the added part is amazing in its simplicity but great in its execution. Great work @transformer_78 . You think you'd be making these to sell?

 

Good call from @Hexatron. If its not a simple screw tightening issue, its possible that the part you would need is held on to the body via a pin, so i would try going back to your seller if possible unless you are adept at pins, or have disassembled to find out its the part connected to the arm.
@Draemonus (Sept28th) and @Scoobysnacks (sept29th) posted some photos of the shoulder in parts (during porting of a shoulder joint).
