I can see where the knees should be, but the whole upper leg down to the bottom of the knee area is just one molded piece. Thankfully it's just for a custom, otherwise I wouldn't be very happy.

Yeah, I'd be right POed. Never heard of the OS KO getting simplified before.

Someone on shapeways could easily get this done, but he's been put out in the dust bin of 3rd party history. I periodically still check Shapeways for add ons for Feral Rex and Warbo .......I really need claws for Feral Rex, the guy who was making them ripped me off and never sent them. I got on here and warned people that he was a crook but people didn't listen and I was temp banned. He went on to open up a online transformer shop and then got an endorsement from BS..... big mistake because a year later he ripped a bunch of people off in a major way ......and declared bankruptcy.

Ahh yeah, I recall something like that with the claws. Sadly you're right. I think Feral and WB are too old, no interest, moved on type thing so not getting much in terms of add-ons/upgrades. Oh well.

Well, I collect just CHUG-Voyager size figures so for me, WB01 is the best Bruticus option; in terms of scale it fits perfect for what I want, for my sence of scale and definitely, definitely, definitely, definitely, definitely, definitely will not buy a set that needs an entire extra torso to make the combined mode and is totally useless in every other way, no matter how good it looks.

Why not get the OS KO like I did?

Yeah that is a new one to me as well, must be a cheaper KO of the original KO?

Isn't the OS by JinBao? Is there another?

Warbotron WB-01 is a popular mold:

    - the original by Warbotron
    - Wukong
    - MachineBoys (supposedly based on Wukong)
    - Xuexing Animation simplified diecast version
    - JinBao Oversized, box set only

I got the JinBao set (loose pieces) dirt cheap from a seller who was getting rid of his own copy.

Already had the original set. Didn't want to buy a whole other OS set, though I did think about it. And, at that time, I more preferred the scale that WB01 had set.

What are the leg sliders like on Wu Kong Blast Off - the Machine Boy one isn't great - & the original WB One has issues with breaking so I could do with another one - but i'm not sure which one to get.

I'm still waiting for some sort of confirmation of if that mysterious grey one will ever come out and if it's normal size or an oversize one.

Pretty good overall. Some of the figures had tendencies to arrive with or develop stress marks in weird places, but the actual incidences of anything breaking were pretty small, as I recall. Rock solid in combined mode. The only real issue I had was one of the pins on Onslaught's wheels likes to fall out, so I had to watch out for that when going back and forth. I'm selling my set on the cheap, if you're interested. I like it but it looks small to me after having a Zeta combiner and the MMC one looks like it's going to scratch that itch for me a bit better.

By chance, I don't suppose you still have the pictures of them with the G1 toys? Been looking for that comparison for what feels like forever and the images expired.

If they don't have it, I can probably get some pics tonight. You want Warbotron and G1 figures together?
