Really want to get into these. What are the best versions of the 84/85 bots and cons?

 

Everyone's going to have a different answer for you, and to be honest Iron Factory, Magic Square, and New Age are all comprable. I don't have any experience with Iron Factory, so I will simply say that from my experience, Magic Square is better to handle and New Age is better to display.

 

Awesome Pics! I regret selling my DIA Commander. I still have Citizen Stack, but DIA was built better. I did just buy MP31 tho as a replacement  

 

I think Siege Brunt goes well with MFT figures.

 

thanks for that. i've been looking for ways to grow my collection without solely relying on 3Ps. that being said, i've started looking at official releases (and have some in already) but it's hard to follow or see which official release will go properly with the collection. so i'm adding this Brunt to my list.

Ya know i debated putting the Monsterbots with my Legends+, and now i can see they will def work

I use Gen Skyshadow(same size as MFTl), and Thunderwing with my Legends+. Theres a few Deluxe figs that work if u consider they should be "leader" size guys

 

i've been trying to grow my army by looking at official releases. just a bit hard to keep track of which official release will work 3P legends.

 

Not sure theres too many, maybe a handful or so i can think of, or that ive seen people use and kinda fit
Ones that seem to work well enough are
Voy CW SkyLynx
Dlx Skyshadow
Dlx Thunderwing
Dlx Skullgrin
Dlx Jhiaxis
PotP Dinobots(not Grimlock tho)
Seen a few people also use classics Astrotrain, Tankor, voy Jetfire, even Gen Jetfire
Combiners tend to work pretty good in combined mode, not individual mode tho
