Battle Buffalo seems quite likely to get Knocked off as does the Raptor I would think.

I would not be adverse to them designing their own version of Big Powered and selling it piecemeal. I'd just like to have one for under $200.

 

I think it's highly likely that many a KO factory will see that Takara releases pushing $400 and go "Hold my beer" and be able to cut that price substantially. I think MFT could do with some larger toys even if another factory / factory family makes them they'd still benefit from them existing even if they are not the one making them.

I saw that new concept on Twitter which is a digger/bulldozer crane thing with legs that open up into an operations bay that looks like it would interact well with mini-mechs and containers.

The main reason i'd like well "anything" bigger is to have something to interact with the containers presented as they are unless you want to pay Takara money for them bases the Containers can be a bit issolated feeling. It's like owning a container port and not having any trains, trucks or ships to go with it.

 

yeah, the mammoth trucck parts arent exact copies of the official big powered, so im guessing theyre making their own design, which if the original suit designs are anything to go off, should be good

Just looking to get into these - I bought the Cosmo-Maneuver-whatever ages ago and really liked it. Is there a halfway decent list of KOed products and/or manufacturers and/or etailers/ebay sellers someone can point me to, please? The officials are nice, but I just can't bring myself to plunk down the amount they're asking for a line I'm still on the fence over.

 

Yeah I am WAY into these things.

I love that the Dia-Naut pilots seem to work pretty agreeably with my Legends collection. If I had a better display situation, I would put them right in with my Season three and beyond characters where they really look like a fair approximation of the EDC. I also have the head of my Unique toys Cerebros(Fortress?) piloting my MFT mini-sentinel... absolutely love that the headmaster characters can fit in the Powersuits!

Lastly, I want to get a Dia-Battles and mock him up to be the giant holographic Autobot from Heavy Metal War! Would make for a pretty awesome diorama.

That damn thing is why I'm thinking of getting in on collecting.  

 

I use him all the time too, very reliable. He doesn't usually get the "special" edition ones but he generally has the best prices. I order loose all the time to save a few bucks here and there, it adds up and I don't need more boxes clogging up my storage anyway...

 

I'll definitely be scouring this for the smaller armors to troop build. Now I just need to get a decent source for the big mecha.

 

FYI, hzj401 currently has one available of the bonus mech suit MS01U that comes with the recently released second version of MS-01 Springer (which is confirmed to be nearly identical to the first, so no need to get it again)

Another seller I've used once or twice that is pretty reputable/safe is faithtoptalk. They often have the "special" versions that hzj401 won't carry, for example MFT DA-27 blue (sea hunter color variant):
