See, if I had Buzzing, I wouldn't even be considering Jabber. I'm generally not a fan of "upgrading" figures - I buy a character and that's it... at least that was my mantra until I upgraded Megatron, Optimus, and Grimlock. But I still try to avoid it and, because Blurr is a completely insignificant character, I wouldn't be tempted at all. But I passed on Buzzing 'cuz I thought he was too big and because, at the time, I had no intention of trying for a "complete" collection - only buying the ones that were important to me. Now I'm only two characters away from finishing my TFTM cast, so I figured I might as well. And that's part of why I'm willing to buy Jabber without having seen the final version - I want him to be perfect but if he isn't, it won't hurt as much as an imperfect Optimus or Megatron for example.

Yeah, I ended up with Rouge and Azalea both but that's because I just have a soft spot for Arcee. Would've gotten Toyworld too if it weren't so ugly, and I'm seriously tempted to get that one that we don't talk about. I too am disappointed in Rouge's articulation (another reason I consider her a black mark on FT's record) but she just looks so good and I make good use of the side to side waist movement and her well articulated arms and legs - she's really good at doing a crouched down shooting pose with a protective hand held out in front of Daniel.

I'm also only buying Jabber since I love the TF '86 animated movie, and he's needed to make the gang complete. I think I even like Wheelie more than Blurr.

To me, his shining moment was when he was saying how impossible it is to get the Dinobots into the shuttle. Also liked his speed blurring effect. He seemed like he was always doped up on energon coffee. And I love the micro-machine guy voicing him.

 

Yeah. Someone once told me Blurr was like that kid that hung out with the class paste eater back in elementary school. Hard to really like him.

Me too. I figured a Chinese reviewer would have one by now. I keep seeing posts that Toy Dojo is shipping out today and people got shipping notice. Mine still says awaiting order fulfillment.

 

No word yet from TCP or TD. May end up being a Monday arrival.

 

My reaction to both those characters when I first saw them was basically the same one Prime had in "The rude awakening of OP". If I'm getting it it's because of OCD with finishing the movie cast.

 

I think you mean that we heard they were receiving them today and people got their invoices. Haven't heard anybody say that they had arrived or that anybody had gotten their shipping notice.
