glad to hear we mighth see some in hand Jabber pics by the weekend. did something completely stupid and did a first time build (clipping off the parts tree and sanding) on a Gundam MG Jesta, over 12 hours. now i can't sleep because my back is alling me every name in the book, dumbass being the most frequent. I know, has nothing to do with what's going on here, just tired and rambling. have a good night/day everyone.

I'm not getting my hopes up for this guy if their other movie bots are any comparison. Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with all of em but the newer designed ones have been a knockout for me. I'll be happy to finish the shelf either way
Springer is the best of the bunch so far for me, even his transformation is kinda fun.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Wouldn't have ordered him otherwise. I could say something about wishing I knew exactly what I was getting before purchasing, but that would just be silly and cause a whole uproar for like two pages of the thread or something. Nope, I'd never do anything like that. But really their track record is pretty damn good - even their problematic figures are still pretty great. I love Rouge despite her nasty transformation and her lack of waist swivel, and I love Koot despite his panel flexing transformation and huge backpack. I'm sure there are going to be things about this figure I don't like but I'm fairly confident the good will outweigh the bad.

Do you have some kind of alert set up whenever somebody says "TCP" or do you just come on here and do a search for it all the time? :p

Pretty sure someone lets them know an official answer to a question would be helpful, and *poof* he shows up to drop the answer.

    ----------

Sandstorm, Broadside, and Hosehead. Those are three non S1-3 bots I'd like to have MP versions of one day. Had those three as G1 toys and like Sixshot, even though they're not in the seasons I've collected, I'd be tempted to get an MP version of them if it hits the nostalgia nerve for the ones I had back in the day. :)

I'm not sure. Maybe he thinks it's a silly question because it's already been said that TCP and ToyDojo are getting him today? I don't know that that's necessarily a guarantee that it will actually ship today but I'd bet it probably will.

Nah. I think it's a safer bet to wait if you have the patience/wherewithal. I love Koot and Rouge, but they're not the best and it's given me pause to at least see what the in-hands are like whenever FT drops a figure. Since then I've waited and it's either saved me money (with their Cyclonus as I eventually didn't feel like I needed to replace Eligos), or otherwise allowed me to concern myself with other figures. At this point, I'd be replacing rather than filling an actual hole and waiting on FT's release to make sure it's 100% the definitive thing you need is the best bet.

This is a good point except for one thing. You said a word here that I just don't understand.

What is this pay-shuns you speak of?

But in seriousness, I get what you're saying about Koot and Rouge. I love them both but I still see them as kind of black marks on FT's record. Koot's plastic-bending wheel transformation and Rouge's... I don't even know how you're supposed to properly transform her pods but I have to just awkwardly force pieces past each other. I like them and they look great in my display but they are not shining examples of how to properly engineer Transformers. Add in Hoodlum's and Quietus' paint issues and it almost makes you with that Fanstoys would send out... um... it makes you wish that it were easier to make informed purchasing decisions without risking missing out. I guess I could be p.... p.. patient (whew, I said it!) and risk missing out and just wait for a reissue but that's not exactly a guaranteed thing. My coworker is always going on about how he wants to get Willis but he's never been reissued yet.

Gonna wait and see pics in hand before I replace my Buzzing with this guy. Hoping for some comparison pics.

He's got a better face (IMO) but he's more bland with less detail. Plus for me, Blurr is one of those "I don't give a crap" about characters. I really feel he could have been removed from the series or movie and he would have made no difference as he was always around for background and never a main plot of any sort.

I donno. The price isn't TOO bad but I'm just torn as Buzzing looks pretty good still with the rest, it's just not FT's of course and most of my movie characters are.

I get that the quality of Hoodlum and Rouge might not be up to FT's best but I think it's still pretty undeniable that they're the best depiction (at least visually) of those characters in MP form

I have a handful of FT figs, but I skipped on Hoodlum and Rouge. I didnt like Hoodlums's faux hood and Rouge was not in my budget in at the time. For a character a I only needed a decent representation of I just went with Azalea to save some money.

On the other hand I really want FT to do a awesome Rodimus that doesnt have a stupid Hotrod gimmick.

I tell you, man. The money I could have saved 2-3 years ago when i was buying stuff like it was a bodily function. While I didn't have much difficulty with Rouge... eh. Yeah. The lack of the waist swivel was so, so disappointing. It's why I have this OX Arcee on the lam running around in my collection as rogue (har) agent. I keep hoping she does a fusion dance with Rouge somehow. So far, nothing.

Also, if your dude wants a Willis, I might have one I'd be willing to part ways with.

Same boat. Buzzing seems perfectly OK. I mean, his altmode is kinda dumb because they put that stupid gap in him so his targetmaster partner can.... I dunno. Drive with his head sticking 3 feet out the top of him like some drunken prom date? But his robot mode still sticks it and it's not like Blurr did anything but hang out with Wheelie, which is probably a cardinal sin or something.
