Looks like I'll be getting 5* #3 this weekend. Going to pull from Batch 4, like the other two times. I don't have Ratchet or Prowl in 4* versions, and while I've built up my 4* Sludge to be pretty powerful, the 5* would be that much more useful.

 

I need 935 shards for my 2nd

 

My base shields reset frequently, but I only get actual battle history related to battles 1/5 of the time. Is this because people are retreating from the battle? Are there any advantages to retreating?

 

It's weird like that. Even weirder, the first time I got attacked, I logged in and noticed my alloy was no longer at max. Checked the battle history and it said I had been attacked 2 days ago. Even though my resources were at max just a few hours earlier.

 

Anyone know why there is no event countdown timer visible today?

That's a fantastic batch. I will be pulling my third from this batch if I get a couple of lucky drops this weekend. I already have Prowl and Ratchet so any of the 3 will help my squad, but I'm really hoping for Blaster.

 

Blaster was my first 5*. Back when the Alchemist Prime core had it's infamous glitch (where there was full health regen after every minion spawn), he could solo bases like a hot knife going through butter, so he got power-leveled amazingly fast. I've got him at 57/9 currently, and his minions are at 6420 health and 171 damage EACH. He turns an 8 member war team into a 12 member team, and his minions attract defenses away from the main team. So yeah, Blaster is the one you want.

 

I may have spoken too soon... I'm through 20+ crystals and no 5* shards have dropped. I only need 135 from crystals (plus the 600 from the event itself), but... yikes.

 

120 crystals....three 10 5* drops...3 out of 120 provided 5* shards and I’m stuck at 4995...lol, this game is still a joke, but obviously I have nothing better to do with my weekends...doesn’t bother me, because I don’t spend anymore

Saw a post on here about someone spending $150k on earth wars...I thought my couple of thousand was bad...I think mine still is...but 150k wow...but I would guesstimate that most everyone in a top 5 alliance has spent 25-50k...so where I am as a player vs those who spend that much...they basically have more 5*’s and higher level and basically all that money does is win you more spark, that’s why I quit spending...what’s the point in being in the top of your family when you can not spend and be in alliance 3 or 4 and all you really don’t get that others at the top get is probably 500k to a million or so sparks more...which is one more or two more ability ten bots, not worth the 10-20k in money to me

You can win with 4*’s at 58/9 and prime cores at lvl 14/15 same as you can with 5*’s at 60/10 with prime cores at lvl 20...the 5*’s just look better

 

Sounds like the results were paltry this time around... myself and at least two other members of my alliance had the worst results we've ever had. I ended up with 95 5* shards, leaving me 40 short of the crystal.

 

The drop rates of the 5* shards was absolutely atrocious. I think I managed 60 shards, which, compared to older events is terrible. I was 1000 away from my next 5* and had hoped I'd pull enough to get me within one dupe. In the past, before they raised the amount of guaranteed shards and made the shard drop rates worse, I would yield 8-900 or more shards per event. I probably would have chased that last dupe with the mixed bundle, but as such, I didn't even bother. I'll get another 4* from the next event, and will then be a dupe and a half (2 dupes) away. Oh well.

 

Some of us were lucky enough with the 5*shards. I did get the 1000+ needed

 

The fact that 10 3* shards was a prize was an absolute joke.

Yeah, I only got 50 shards from crystals, freaking blows. I am inside I'd 2 dupes away, but damn, I thought I'd finish it with this event.
