I think he looks pretty nice overall, and the flight mode looks really slick, but there's just something about that front wheel/shoulder joint that throws it all off for me. Spark Toys wasn't perfect either, but there's seemed to pull it off much smoother. That cockpit canopy is a bit rough too, but not a deal breaker, I just hope they go with transparent blue plastic and round it all off a bit more. Either way, if I get him, he's pretty much going to be in his full flight armor all the time anyways.

 

This will be the definitive Cybertronian Optimus for me. I just need more War Within characters to fill the ranks. Megatron and Devastator aren't enough.

 

Looks cool. But I wish the wings were a different colour. They look kinda boring in grey. If they had a God Ginrai styled red I think it would look really nice.

 

I will never armor him up. That will be his trailer. Not into the ginrai look for my WW Prime.

Already got the Spark Toys version, but I love anything War Within and so i'll be getting this to support in the hope they release some more.

Civil Warrior

 

The Spark Toys one having a rounded "hub" to connect the shoulder to the outside of the wheel made it look neater, since it was less obvious against the wheel behind it. It's also thinner, and this one almost appears to be angled slightly out towards the front (which could just be an illusion due to the shape, really not helping any).

 

I must admit the trailer armor pack is better than expected.

Fingers crossed that he turns out to be a good figure as well, because I really want to put him on my Prime shelf.

Tell Maketoys to redo their Galaxy Seeker repaints. War Within MP line would complement them.

 

I've got their Galaxy Meteor, but the scale seems a little off compared to the Spark Toys Prime and Megatron. This version should be a bit bigger and fit better size wise?

 

As far as I know this one is around 25 cm,so it should look better with Maketoys' Starscream

 

Not really familiar with War Within but I do like this design, gives me a strong Cybertronian Armada Optimus vibe and that’s playing on a heart string.

Of course that being said I wish that when a Prime has a trailer, companies would start making more base trailers rather than jet packs. Sure I really like how this one looks but it’d be something a bit different for once.

 

Hoping the cockpit/canopy will be transparent blue on the final one but it’s not a deal breaker. I’m definitely in for this regardless, I mean, look at that hand cannon!!!

 

If these guys go beyond Prime & Megs they'll have my interest.
