Oh I know, I was just curious what someone might find one new for. Trying to balance price vs. value with the weathered and cel shaded versions compared to just a classic green.

 

No worries. I got it for $460.00 shipped. I was going to pick up the chrome version at TFCon LA but TCP was sold out. I was just going to keep my Combiner Wars Devastator but he didn't look as good next to DX9 Gabriel and I already made up my mind about picking up Constructor. I looked around all the usual websites and I asked a couple of people I know that dabble in high end toys and they couldn't come up with V.2 Constructor. I ended up messaging Show Z out of the blue and he had a couple left. I figured what he had was a return since this design was old but the box came in sealed and Show Z assured me that I would get aftermarket support. I picked it over the Chrome version to save some cash for other figures and Show Z did warn me that the Chrome versions had more problems than V.2, although my V.2 did have it share of problems.

 

Hi guys.

New collector here. After weeks of reading finally decided on this version of Devastator.
Ordered the TW-C07P.

However, I'm having problems with two figures:

1) Bulldozer - popped shoulder guard
2) Shovel - popped head



I know if I try to force it in, I will definitely break the tab/pegs(?).
What should I do ? Thanks so much in advance.

 

Wow, I don't know how you did that  
The best way would be to screw them open, put the pieces back in place, and screw them back together. In Bonecrusher's case you pull off the green part at the back of his shoulder, and it will give you access to the screws. As for Scrapper, the screws are on his back. You need a fairy small-headed screwdriver, though I think the one that comes with this version of the toys should work.

 

I would grab this if it went on sale.... otherwise planning to stick to the JB one. Come on its been years, have some sales!!!

 

The Old Green is too good to be cancelled. There are many people here - me too - waiting for it. Hang on!

 

Yeah, when was the last time the original was released, I'm sure a re-release of the real colours would sell better than strange recolours like black

 

I really wanted to not love this Devy as much as I do.

But man. It is a work of art.

I may have to replace my OS JB with this one. It just looks better in every mode.

 

The four versions of tw devy I got were when they were on sale (one of which was a discounted preorder price that got cancelled).
Oddly enough, the OS’d green JB version was the only one I didn’t get ‘on sale’ but I did get the three 2-piece A,B,C sets without their boxes for a few solar savings. I did get their yellow OS’d set of six on sale though.  

Don’t know what color, if any, you’re set on for this set, but we’re about 5-weeks away from singles’ day sales and Black Friday/cyber Monday sales not long afterwards, so I wouldn’t be surprised if some color variants of this mold go on sale again during those time frames.

 

I found a local guy selling what i think is the normal green boxset for around 300 euros, these are the pics he sent me.

That's a good price. It's the cost of the box set when first released but not over priced. If the seller says there's no issues with the figures, I'd jump on it. You can't get this at normal retail very easily now so grab this up if you like this

Some sort of feature scraped late in development, maybe.

 

Funny how the price of this thing has always made me balk and yet he's available for around the same price as MP-44.

Just need to decide which one to get!

 

Well, simple math would say 6 figures for the price of one that the six would make more sense. But, it is really dependent on where your wants reside, are you happy (content) with the OP you have now or if you have an OP and is this Devy what you want or do you want to wait and see if it goes on sale or a different version comes out (which doesn't seem likely). Choices are good, but making those choices sucks sometimes.

 

MP44 made me take the decision to buy Constructor and FHs Double evil. He made a good point that day...

 

When I learned of MP-44's price I decided that I would get either constructor or MP-44... And I got both. ;]
