    Yo fellow mp-44 lovers
Still enjoying this version of my favourite character, not a single a day so far without messing about with it, either posing or transforming.
Just wondered if you had any tips on how to avoid this paint chip I have on both sides.

And just for enjoyment, the classic pose

I have the same paint chip on one side of prime. To avoid further damage, I make sure that that forearm piece is bent all the way (a little bit past 180 degrees from it’s starting position) before rotating the assembly around the forearm. While rotating I apply pressure from behind the joint and go as slow as possible. This method has been working well for both sides so far.

So, forgive me if this has been addressed already, but there's a lot of pages here, lol. Regarding his "antennae", it seems a lot of them have come slightly bent, which I thought maybe was how they intended it to be for some reason. But the promo shots (and some of the pics here) show straight antennae. Are they indeed intended to be straight? Is there a generally accepted method for straightening them if yours are bent?

If you massage them with a tight enough grip, the heat from the friction should be able to perk 'em up :)

@ph4zed is right, manually straightening them is easy. The plastic the antennae are made of is extremely flexible. Simply pinch each of them between your finger and thumb, bend them out 45-90 degrees for about 30 seconds and repeat as many times as necessary. I wouldn't use the heat method due to risk of warping and melting.

Btw, seems pretty much everyone's antennae are curved out of the box but of course all promo shots show they were intended to be straight.

So I finally got around to taking everything out of the box and put it out on display. I really have to say I love that they made the tray on the bottom of the trailer carry a lot of the additional stuff and have spots to put the hose and adapters in the trailer. Plus having Roller being attached to the trailer as well is nice. I just wish they could have figured out how to house Starscream's head and intakes and it would have been perfect. But to only have two accessories in a case somewhere else is so nice. It is like they actually realized that people play with this more than just having them on display.

I read that the ‘death grip’ would later make massages less effective? Wait what are we talking about again?

Just gorgeous. He looks so alive.

Looking at these photos just underscores for me how I can never unsee the subtle details TT have employed to capture the toon aesthetic.

The way his chest windows aren't flat but angle out slightly. The little triangular indentation beneath them to give the illusion of even greater depth. The toonish proportions of his oblique abdominal area (much like Megs 2.0's.)

The curvature of the front of his thighs. The subtle angling of the corners of the surfaces of his arms, shoulders, and forearms that give the illusion of roundness there as well, which in turn means from almost any angle you get that slightly subleminal "cartoon in motion" impression. And of course the insane articulation.

All of these little things are why I can't unsee him and why, while the alternatives are amazing too (one in particular imo,) I just can't ever be happy until I own this particular mold now. It's this (or a modified version of this) or nothing for me at this point.

As with all recent TT MP's, it isn't about any specific individual thing, but rather the overall feel and silhouette (kind of how I'm also able to excuse MP-45's kibble because my brain just "paints around" it and turns it into a turtle shell shape and ignores the gaps.)

That intangible average of factors that yields a unified "feeling" is what TT does so masterfully imo. Other options can be cleaner, more fun, and more straightforward, but they don't give me this feeling. That's what I mean when I say I "can't unsee" him lol. The roundedness of corners in particular really sells it for me. No one else is doing that.
