The most glaring omission in my collection is a Big Convoy. I have every other incarnation of convoys (Optimus Prime, Optimus Primal, Lio Convoy (although I don't have the original mold on him)), but I don't have the mastodon. I know I can order the new one, but I don't have the money when he turns up on sale.

 

Probably Thundercracker as he and Red Alert are my all-time favs. I'm gonna grab the siege one when it finally hits my area. Galvatron was my favorite leader but doesn't really have a chug toy without issues.

I was never bothered about him until I read his Dreamwave Profile and the 2 part story in Dreamwave's G1 ongoing. They really made him a badass in my eyes and one of his lines gave me my first laugh out loud response while reading a Transformers comic.

Despite growing up on G1 and being an adult collector for 17 years, it's only in the last few years I finally picked up a G1 Sunstreaker.

POTP Swoop was my first toy of the character.

A phenomenon I've encountered as a collector is where you keep meaning to buy a certain toy but never get around to, often because Transformers keep coming out that grab your attention more.

Often, it's lesser known ones that you know never get too expensive so you keep procrastinating. The last 2 years at TFNation have let me rectify a few of those.

Having had Flattop, Overload and Roughstuff since childhood, I still haven't picked up Erector.

Likewise, despite having all but two of the Micromaster patrols, I've never gotten around to picking up the Hot Rod and Military Patrols.

My second G1 Decepticon, Snapdragon had waited 32 years and still no Apeface. Landmine and Cloudburst patiently await Waverider while Catilla's waiting on Chainclaw.

Meanwhile I have several Optimus Primes and Bumblebees who I don't even like as characters.

I shouldn't be surprised I still don't have Titans Return Twintwist and Blitzwing given how unreliable and disappointing distribution has always been in Ireland.

I don't know how I don't have the leader of the decepticons after galvatron! Soon maybe.

 

MP Brawn...but that would be more accurately stated as surprised there's not a good version available of him this far in, at least from a 3rd Party. I'm not surprised Takara hasn't done him yet. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't ever do him.

 

Im surprised I haven't got Gabriel or Terminus yet.

I collect MP scale mainly, but I still have a hard time pulling the trigger on stuff over 230-250 range. My 2 most expensive figs are MP-10 and Phoenix.

 

Bumblebee. These days it's like who TF doesn't have him. Even if you dont like him he's expected in most collections

 

Erector or starscream or rumble

 

BW Dinobot. He became one of my favorite BW characters and now one of my top favorite characters of any series.

Bad thing is, I don't have a single Dinobot figure. I am not happy with any of the toy versions. The original toy was not screen accurate and the TFU 2.0 version was bleh. The MP looks awesome but just out of my price range.

 

If sold off so many figures over the years that I've lost track. Currently, I don't think I own a Bumblebee outside of Murderbee, who in my headcanon I dont consider a real Bumblebee.

 

Arcee. I'm still waiting for the one that's just right.

 

I'm definitely surprised I haven't got a full set of Deluxe Insecticons yet.

They are such unique Transformers.

I hope we'll get them in WFC.
