Well being stuck in the ‘80s is getting super boring. Bring on the post-G1 stuff already.

We know the Commander that Catz saw is NOT Star Saber but maybe there will be 2 Commanders this year or maybe he will be in the subline after ER ? Star Saber feels prime for a return to form. 20190924_024454.jpg

I'm hoping they do the opening sequence Scorponok head design as well.

Looks like they're going with the HM series Zarak bot mode.

But I'm hoping they don't go with the HM Series Scorponok look though.

In terms of Cliffjumpers scale/height, in this picture you can clearly see the 5mm port, based off of that, if you add multiples of that measurement down to his feet and to his head, you'll be able to get an approximate scale. I personally do not possess the skills nor the technology to execute such a task but maybe one of you do? Screenshot_20191008-175004_Instagram.jpg

I just did a super rough estimate, and with that in mind he's just over 3''.

Also, this being a speculation thread, I'm hoping for a Blaster, Trailbreaker, and which ever other SE1 bots didn't make it in Siege.

The downscaled Devastator limbs are all the size of a small Siege Deluxe except the two torso pieces which are the size of a large one and a Voyager.

The big difference I’d observe is that Devastator’s arms from the elbows down are separate pieces.

The hole is 42 pixels high.

The top of head to middle of the foot is 620 pixels high.

    That's around 14.75x the size.

    14.75 x 5mm is 73.75 mm.

    Around 2.9 inches.

    However, the legs are bent.

Okay. So each mm is about 8.4 pixels.

From the thigh, 112 pixels wide(13 mm). 188 pixels tall (22) from crotch peg to top of foot. Use Pythagorean theorum to figure out the length of the angled leg. 25.5 mm is the length of the leg.

So add 3.5mm to the height from the leg bend. 77.25mm.

    3.04 inches.

Okay. Yeah. Weird how that came out different than the render but that makes him SHORTER than TR Bumblebee, who's 3.5 inches tall. Just measured.

I'm take an aspirin and let somebody else examine this.

EDIT: I held the TR Bumblebee close to my face until his hand holes were the same size as Cliffjumpers wrist hole and I'm back with the estimate I had before of Cliffjumper at MP21 size.

Just some ideas for minor retools or redecos
    Wheeljack: Slicer, Exhaust
    Cliffjumper: Hubcap, Tap-Out
Hoist: Trailbreaker, maybe a Selects Tow-Line or Lift-Ticket, and maybe a repaint in '07 Longarm colors?
    Grapple: Inferno, Artfire, Hauler
Starscream: Coneheads, Sunstorm, Welcoming Committee, G2 Sandstorm
Runamuck could probably share engineering with Runabout and the Throttlebots.

Was looking through TFWiki to see what other Micromaster teams and bases could be made. here's some thoughts:

Construction patrol: Groundpunder (front loader) and Takedown (cement mixer)
    -good companion pieces to Ironworks
-redeco opportunity as Constructicon Micromasters Buckethead and Quickmix

Constructor Squad: Stonecruncher (crane) and Excavator (actually an excavator instead of another crane)
    -combine into crane-shovel-truck thing
-also good companion pieces to Ironworks and Constructicon redecos

    Metro Squad: Oiler and Slide
-role in previous IDW continuity could give them a chance at being made
-Oiler could be repainted into 'Cragun' (AKA Erector)

    Hot House
-red and orange base with added white as a fire station
-robot mode based on Micromaster Hot House

    Greasepit
-Dark blue and red fueling base
-paint apps that make him look like he's leaking oil
-could have some kind of 'capture claws' to grab unsuspecting micromasters looking to fuel up!

    Airwave
    -gray and blue airport/base/missile platform
-could feature Omega Supreme inspired rocket/missile that turns into his arm(s) or an airport control tower

I have a question. Please hear me out:

They said that Bumblebee would not be a remold of Cliffjumper. But we know that Bumblebee will come to the trilogy sooner or later. So how would they handle Bumblebee’s mold differently from Cliffjumper besides the obvious external features? How will he be handled as his own?

I feel like there is more to this than they’re letting on.

Well, there are a few ways.

    - He has a Cybertronian mode. Earthrise looks to still have some of those, with the merc faction at a minimum.

    - He’s a minicooper or VW bug or some variation of those. In that case, I expect he might have a similar MP-21ish scheme but the proportions would be different.

    - Hasbro opts for something more inspired by Bayverse/Bumblebee movie/Cyberverse/IDW. I figure he’d still be short but he could have a hood chest and headlight shoulders. This would be a pretty big deviation from the vintage toon robot mode styling.

Whose blast effect is on Cliffjumper's foot? Maybe we can estimate his size based on that...once we find out who it belongs to!

Okay, good. Now how does it look next to both Titans Return and MP-21 Bumblebee?
