Was this in-store? I thought the 10/50 and 25/100 deal was only online, and Impactor & Mirage aren't on Target.com.

 

It's both in-store and online.

 

Of course Target has this sale after I spent $200 online late last week.

 

If you by some chance haven't opened them, you should be able to bring the items to a Target store and do a return/re-buy at the Customer Service desk.

 

you sure can bring them back and take advantage of the deals.

I suspect it will happen again next year with a similar date. Would be great if they did it again for the holiday season but doesnt look like it.

 

Or they can just do a price adjustment with the receipt, if you're within 7 days.

 

Can they? I tried that a couple years back and they said they couldn't do it unless I brought the items in (they mentioned that they used to be able to do it with just the receipt, but couldn't anymore).

 

They're supposed to, but I guess it depends on the store or who is working the counter.

 

Just contact Target Customer Service on their online chat or call them. Be nice and they should refund you the difference.

I've ordered toys online from them before and like two days later they had the $25 off over $100 or it might've been like 20-25%, they refunded the difference for me. YMMV.

 

I was going to mention that: Target will run another toy coupon like this (around November, if I recall correctly), which is good for folks waiting on new TF stock. Of course, there's always the risk of stuff selling out in the holiday season, but an item as expensive as OS will probably stick around.

I'm tempted to buy OS now, but... Feels a little too early. But who knows if they're stocking OS everywhere or planning to use it in ads. Most collector stuff doesn't get discounted these days. Clearance prices are a pain with the scalpers decimating the stock. Someone mentioned Predaking on HTS ebay, but he sold out before you could even read the post mentioning the clearance!

Since it is about 80 miles to the nearest Target if I decide to do anything I will have to go this route. Honestly I should have listened to my gut because I was thinking just as soon as I place an order something like this would happen. Thanks for the advise.

 

Do you know what are the restrictions? Trying to get Siege Slundwave and some micros and it says they don't qualify.

When the sale from earlier this year happened (with the coupons that stacked) I had multiple purchases from different stores and had opened a few of them.

I loosely boxed them back up, hauled all of them to my closest target, told them employee at Customer Service that I wanted to return them and then repurchase them all with the stacked coupons. Was patient and had all my receipts.

Even though I had to pack them back up, it still saved me about $100 by going back. Target employee was super helpful.
