If they're not rehiring their old employees who got laid off, then Toys R Us should have stayed dead.

That's a good point, I should've clarified that the "helping" meant Target is getting some kind of deal or kickback from it. Otherwise, they wouldn't have agreed to it.

Did it occur to you that those people have expenses to pay and went to find new jobs? Did it also occur to you that sinking companies don't lay off people out of petty spite but out of necessity? And that those people could feasibly put in applications once more? Has it ever occurred to you that a large international chain will take lots of time and money to try and pull itself back up by its bootstraps?

And, besides, they're specifically asking for former employees to apply. Why should anyone expect more?

Why would anyone believe that they were coming back? It's over. Most Kid's of this generation don't want toys anymore and times have changed, along with over priced toys to boot.

I showed a manager that ALL their Siege had become locked under a street date and she was able to ring it up as "General merchandise" 29.99. Probably won't work often just be nice and patient

I’m glad that Toys R Us will be around but the one that we know is gone forever. I know I’m being dramatic, but it won’t ever be the same experience I had as a little grub walking into a giant store full of nothing but toys.

Not just Siege either. I was just informed even the Studio series is having issues with it. Yea managers have the ability to sell it under the guise of something else but even they cant override street dates. Hopefully they get this sorted out because it's happening every day that they're turning away customers.

"modern way through a strong experiential and content-rich omnichannel concept"

Is that how you describe Target commercials. Because I thought Target commercials were taking the Zoolander approach.
