I did the same thing and had no issues, so hopefully you’re fine.

Same, happy to see I’m not the only younger collector that will be enjoying this figure! This thing looks amazing and I can’t wait to see the rest of my collection get absolutely dwarfed by this thing when it finally ships in 2021.

Yeah, I remember buying absolute boatloads of video games with the checks from my first real job. With no bills to pay, I could have handled Unicron more easily back then than I can now.

While there are e-tailers worldwide willing to take orders for Unicron in different countries, it would be nice to have it a lot more accessible next time. A shame if someone couldn't get theirs because there were no domestic stores able to take orders for them. The backers here are lucky to be able to order Unicron, though I haven't seen any posts saying they couldn't back it because of that reason, at least not recently.

...well, let's see by way of comparison: back when i was in high school mowing lawns and working at the marble slab, my all-time most-expensive purchase was a yamaha PSS-280 i bought from service merchandise for two hundred fifty dollars (well, $249.97, it being service merchandise), so doing a little inflation calculation from 1988, that comes to $542.11 in 2019...

    ...yep, unicron's still expensive!..

In his defense, was there a South American option outside of the US secondary suppliers? Something where he wouldn't be paying an excess of shipping for?

...international distribution was/is a jumbled mess, indeed: at least hasbro made efforts to partner with local distributors in many markets, but it was a far from comprehensive nor cohesive initiative, unfortunately...

...their crowdfunding target was totally unrealistic for US domestic demand alone, but feasible for total global demand; haslab clearly needs to bring their international distribution up to par for future campaigns...

Yeah, this will be my most-expensive purchase as a university student. Right above MP-44... unless they release something more asking than Prime himself - which I hope not. Lucky me though! I can pay until 2021 when he ships thanks to EB games and buy other things along the way - namely a PS4 from EB games? ;)

Oh, so that's how they're able to take orders for Hasbro so cheap, they make back their loss by somehow convincing me to buy more things from them... clever.

...word of advice from twenty years' hard experience: avoid dependents, they're an incessant black hole which consume the overwhelming majority of your income and time, both...

...not that i'd follow my own sage advice, unfortunately!..

As a kid I never bought myself the expensive tfers or toys in general, those were bought by my parents for birthdays and christmases, so no toys havent priced out kids per say, my daughter's legos way out price what most of the tfers cost in store, when she's not asking for a more expensive videogame for her 2ds or Switch.

Idk why people think collector stores the only ones closing, do they even news, Forever21 just filed bankruptcy, Macys closed a significant amount of stores, where Sears and Kmart that happened to both stock tfers? Idk about Publix but what y'all know about H.E.B.? Walmart and Target have solidified themselves to be a staying power in the marketplace and have helped destroy many of the places named add in that people want to buy everything from the internet, hence my huge support of @ToyDojo being local to me

Congratulations to those of you who purchased this gougeous figure, but it is a shame that people outside USA and Canada were nor able to back this project. Hasbro do sell worldwide and should make this figure available worldwide too, specially in countries that they do operate directly, like here in Brazil.

    Exactly. Agree 100%. Thanks.

Hasbro works directly in South America, but as I am afraid to admit... We don't have a strong toy market in most countries, neither a big or strong toy store chain. Here in Peru, toys are sold only via corners in big malls and they sell well only in August or December. Some friends here supported Unicron via online stores, and shipping was around 500 dollars believe it or not. We had to look for shipping alternatives or relative/friends in the US to receive it.

Payment options and real international orders would have been a great option to this crowdfunding.
