Best thing about Skylinx, if you leave the legs forward facing with the blue paws up front you can have a double jointed knee!

Heads up for those with Siege Mirage

No no, sorry it’s my fault! I had a brainfart and genuinely forgot that NI would take longer, by which point I’d already posted. Thanks for the response though! :)

Yeah, CW Skylynx is just on the awesome side of WTF? and I'm really glad I managed to find one when he showed up in TK Maxx.

I was looking at the new Zoids this morning, and discovered one of them is called Death Rex. Which I can't complain about.

Welp, that looks like another precautionary tab shaving to do as I've already had to whittle Mirage II's clear leg panel's rear tabs for car mode (it would've been way more force than I'm comfortable with putting on clear plastic to tab the back end together without the trim, especially after the disintegration of Mirage I's lower leg fronts).
Why are the real lookers always so high maintenance?! ;)

‘Balti is the right of any tea time’

Is more like it. Haven’t had a balti for a while... hoping they can knock a decent one up here in Yorkshire, would I be better served heading to Bradford for a proper one, as a Brummie living up here now?

Nothing on the bot front. House stuff happening, once that’s sorted... there will be robots. Lots of them.

I’m working down near Worksop 3 days a week from next week so may give that a try at some point - living near Ponte so may have to work late, pick it up and reheat at home. Thanks for the tip though always handy to know where to get a good curry!

    Oh, MY!

One of the best looking Rodders is also the tiniest?!

Actually that does make me wonder, was it the rumoured upcoming next Commander or Leader class figure that was 'recently done' and would be an 'armoured car' could it be...?
Or am I muddling my rumour clues?

Lovely stuff. Select Series gave us Powerdashers from Siege figures. Come on Hasbro, give us Omnibots from Earthrise!

I hope not. Legends class is too lovely to loose. I'd be okay with a deluxe price point for legends stuff if they came packed with plenty of accessories or minicons or whatever to help justify the price.

Jaysus H Christ. Mirage you need to pull yourself together man. Here's hoping any future reuses of the mold feature stronger plastics and tabs. Commiserations gents for the breakages.

I believe it was a rumoured Leader class armoured car that (if I'm recalling correctly) 'hadn't been done by a 3rd party company before'. Which is why I'm guessing it'll be Groundpounder's ATV with a Breacher style bot Mode and also a big ass Weaponizer :p

But I wouldn't be surprized to see Roddy Prime getting another go in Earth Rise at the leader price point - maybe with a more Earthen style alt-mode that is an armored car of some sort? But, if Chapter 3 of WFC is going to align with the launch of Unicron, Hasbro might hold Leaders Rodimus and Galvatron back until then.

Commander class... well if Hasbro are taking it in turns (similar to how Titans vary faction year to year), then I would think any Earthrise Commander is going to be a Decepticon. So a giant Decepticon with an earth mode... like maybe a boat or an aircraft carrier?

... and if we are following the seeming theme of the line, some cross-over play with the Micromasters.... hmmmm.

It was Leader. Rodimus has been mooted, but Catz himself seemed to suggest that it wasn't Rodimus ("btw, what are armored car alt mode figure that haven't been made yet that suited for leader class?"/"on the side note, that armored care in leader class IS a previously made character, but now done right. People will be so happy", plus not initially realising that whatever character it is had been done by a 3P.). I still think it's Roadbuster.

    Now that I'd buy!
