The address is wrong, as their message states. Anything further than that you'll need to contact them. Third parties run their own show.

Yeah they definitely graded that yellow and ONLY the yellow... we'll see!

EDIT: I just compared this to the one in my own email and this is much more orange than mine. Did you edit this?

EDIT EDIT: Nevermind I see this same orange one is attached to the article. Something is fishy because mine in my email is definitely not this orange. Looks the same as always basically.

Huh. It's an old photo from the HasLab site, but they definitely adjusted the hue when they put it in front of that star field. Interesting.

I think it's going to be impossible to say until we're physically handling it. The existing Unicron prototypes on display at SDCC, NYCC and on official Youtube videos all appeart to have somewhat different/orange yellows, but since it's a handful of hand painted, 3d-printed prototypes, they don't really. It's people's different cameras picking up the color differently. Folks who have seen it in person on youtube have even said "it's kind of orangeish".

Like here is a good example (a bit old but illustrates the point)

The saturation of the orange on the car, the dumpster in the background, the wood's brown and the sky are all drastically different. The photosensors pick up the color and the light and process it differently. And this will be the same for professional quality digital cameras too. Getting colors "right" means rebalancing them in photoshop, which I doubt's been done in anything we've seen.

Short version: we'll have to see him in hand, but nobody should expect the "dark" orange some Unicron merchandise has gone over years, and that includes the Japanese remold of the Armada Unicron release.

Not really. Something like this is going to take a long time to make the plates for. The production schedule for their regular Titan-class is 2 years. This will be about 3.5 from first concept to ship date.

Just got the mail from HasbroPulse saying thank you for the funding and that payment will be charged tomorrow October 8th. This also made me realize, the damn dollar has been rising in value nonstop. What happened, they found more oil in Alaska or something? It's now 303 HUF per USD, earlier this year was 285-290 at most.

If true, then the assumption that the campaign failed without an extension would be wrong since it sounds like they had probably enough etailer orders to get it to the goal, if not super close, and this is without the last surge of buyers waiting until last minute. If the 11,000 plus order is true, then they most likely had the goal within reach by the time they announced the extension. I don't see thousands of orders just materializing in 30 days just because the extended the campaign. Most of these backers probably waited to pull the trigger at the end and just waited some more after the announcement of the extension.

Yeah this thing would of funded absolutely if it had ended a month ago. it probably only would get about 9000 like the sail barge but considering there were like 1000 orders the final 2 days plus 3200 e-tailer orders .... never underestimate how many procrastinators there are in the world lol.

but I hope this doesnt mean haslab will try to put a 10K goal on the next transformers haslab project lol

Is there a continuity where he doesn't have an origin of some sort given? Even if it's one of those vague, obscured by the mists of time, possibly mythologized kind of things? I'm not that familiar with some of the story lines, so I don't know. But you're correct, the narrative wouldn't necessarily require an origin story for him, depending on how it's written.

    Exactly.

    I could live with that.

Also, thanks to this I now have the following song stuck in my head. :)

Okay then. What instead of Primus as a Planet, a Unicron sized Rung?

As far as I know, any continuity that has featured Unicron eventually got around to giving him an origin of some sort.

However, the point WAS that it's not necessary. The original TFTM was perfectly fine without it, and if the Primacron origin episode was never made, no one would have missed it.

Had the opportunity to see this in person at NYCC yesterday, pictures really don’t do it justice this looks really impressive in person...so I bit the bullet and backed it

    - looks fully painted, rep confirmed the way it looks is exactly how we are getting it

    - said there was no diecast in its structure, so this is 19lbs of pure plastic. Those planet panels look very thick and heavy. Other then the hands there shouldn’t be any hollowness to this.

Congrats to all that made this happen...now to spend the next year and a half trying to figure out where the hell to display it!
