Fans Toys intends to make everything too, but we'll be dead and buried before it all happens.  

 

Yes, because kfc has a huge backlog of figures that is just as long as fanstoys'. I mean KFC'S blitzwing sure is taking just as long as FT's...

 

Because an un-announced product like KFC Overlord is similar to an already-released product like Ditka.
Or we could look at how much the timeline for the XTB Stunticons has elongated and determine that Keith also runs into production slowdowns and also has quite a backlog of figures to produce and release.

 

Which is still going to be faster than the Stunticons and Aerialbots from FT. You're not going to prove a point by comparing FT's release schedule to KFC. FT is on another level of delay.

 

I like both, have both. Carnifex is my IDW Overlord, Double Evil my Gen 1 baddie. Why choose when you can have both?  

 

That's okay. My initial comment was just to point out that 3Ps often make claims that take a long time to come to fruition, not to directly compare KFC and FT. I used FT because they're the most apparent example of 3P extended timelines.

 

Apples and oranges. They're trying to do and be different things. I don't think it's appropriate to think of one as "better."

I personally have, and love, both.

 

I wonder how much the idw fans also collect masterpiece as well and vice versa.

Looks like both have a good amount of appreciation. And are overall good representations of their character and toy exclusive to their specific series in what I call the transformer multi verse

I've heard in both heaven and hell, FT's production goes a lot faster i.e. you get the bots before the silhouettes. Production handled by Spence

Yeah, but it's brand new. MMC's Overlord has lost that shine in a lot of eyes just because 2 - 3 years have passed.

Oh, he's way too new for that. You get a free small sheet of Autobot and Decepticon symbols for every $15 you spend at Toy Hax, I used those to sticker up my Double Evil.

 

The newness of double evil has probably worn off wonder if people still feel the same way

 

Every company: "Please don't buy any figures of characters we haven't made yet, because we might get around to it someday. Save your money for us."

It's been out for eight months

 

i agree it’s still new to me but a lot of transformer fans are fad driven so there is a portion of the fandom that may not see this new anymore. Looking at it as old news, I’m not that, hell I still buy figures from 10-35 years ago, third party or official doesn’t matter to me.
