    Dear Oded,

Understood you situation, please click "contact paypal" to ask paypal for help.

You must contact paypal by yourself because this is the money between you and hacker.

Thats awful offloading the issue to the buyer. Sounds fishy as well too.

Their system got hacked now you go deal with it? I'm having a hard time believing this is the position of a legit store like RK because word of mouth travels quickly in our little world.

At least you guys have gotten a response from RK. They still haven't answered my email I sent about PayPal trying to deny my claim. As a first time customer, I am definitely not ordering anything from them ever again.

Is RK being serious? This is the money between you and the hacker! Well, hello, he didn't send the money to the hacker. He send the money to you, but your site got hacked, so that's still on you, RK! I did one business with them on MP13 from 2013 and since then never bother with them again.

Are you able to see the supposed seller's PayPal email address? Is it really RK? (After it has been hacked)

And thus marks the end of Robot Kingdom.

Ain't no one gonna continue buying from them. Plenty of other options.

Is this an ongoing issue? Why is there no mention of this on their website?

No idea if it's on-going. Their website was the first thing I checked.

And given how they're handling this so far? Why advertise they've been hacked? It would lose them money, which from my point of view so far is all they care about. I was willing to give them a second chance but... it's not happening now. =\

I've never bought from RK and Im definitely not going to start after seeing how their treating this situation. They either in reacting hastily are giving their customers bad advise or they simply don't know how to deal with the situation, which is doubly bad. It happened under their noses. Its not the customer who should be left to deal with chasing their money. RK should have been the ones to contact PP and say "these orders were made via these email accounts and those payments went to a unauthorized email/PP account that hacked our system"
It would then be a matter of things getting sorted about between RK's bank, PP and them contacting your PP accounts and banks to have your money returned/refunded.

This is too bad. I've only ordered from RK once and I had a good experience. I feel badly for them.

If RK's site was hijacked, they may have no idea what, if anything was "ordered" or who may have attempted to pay them for goods. If that's the scenario they are facing, I don't know what they could do other than notify their customers...

I'll echo the comments of others - Paypal's customer service is terrible. Years ago I began using my Amex card exclusively for online transactions. The few times I've had a problem, I only have to make one call to Amex and they sort it out.

I don't want to be an alarmist or anything, but is robot kingdom.com based in Hong Kong? I believe it is, if that being the case, I know Alice well enough to say this is not thier norm. Being that Hong Kong is under siege by their government and they stepped up third offense against the protesters, it's a good chance that China has siezed Robotkingdom.com and they may be FORCED to say or do anything at this point. I just made an order on Tuesday and it took all week to ship it, that is unlike them. I live in AU and the package hasn't left Hong Kong yet! It's serious over there now and it could effect every business. And again,.....I may be talking out my ass and know nothing. It's speculation only, after what I been seeing on the news here. It looks like WW3 over there!..... Just keep this in mind about them right now, and pray for those folks in Hong Kong they deserve freedom not comunism. I feel for them. Robot kingdom may be under duress or hostage. I don't know. Don't throw them out just yet. I may not get my 300aud parcel for a while but I won't blame them, I will pray for them.

If you dispute the charge with your credit card company (and you should) , be prepared for your PayPal accounted to be cancelled or locked down to a limited status.

They (PayPal) updated their TOS quite a while ago saying these were possible results of PayPal responding with if you initiate a charge back with your credit card company.

Ordered from them a couple times in the past year no problem.

Always kept them as one of my "in case of emergency" option if they had something I want that wasn't easy to get in the U.S., but I won't anymore for the time being.

    Fixed. :p
