Until TT releases a better one. Or someone KOs it with mods. I'm hoping for the latter, because well when TT gets around to doing another prime I'll be in my late 70s. MP10 to MP44 was a long wait. I can almost see those future Hobby Japan images of Prime with pelvis out, one hand on waist and gun in the other hand up ready for action. You know what I mean..thats a typical modern Bot pose. But the difference will be the bot will be even sleeker and more refined with all the articulation of MP44 but will be even better. Same to for MP36. I mean TT is not going to drop their number 1 cash cow duo now aren't they. Good news, but at this rate a long way off.

The MP-10 antenna won’t fit the MP-44 head. Not without a lot of modification anyway.

You’ll be in your late 70s in 8-10 years? The wait between MP-10 and MP-44 was only 8 years.

Honestly, the price is justified! And most people who don't believe this have simply not handled him or realised how good he is.

Rando shots. Finally got around to Starscream mode - I love it! Only thing is it makes the longing for a new MP Starscream even more painful! I can almost taste Starscream v3 now!

Good grief I love this guy! Very blessed to have two copies - best $650 I ever spent on this hobby!

    I know
I’d replace my Meteor if I can get a v3 Screamer
I know TT would nail him

Yup, MP-10 was released Sept 24, 2011. Which happened to also be about 8 years after MP-1’s release in Dec 2003. So if TT does end up making a v4 and follows the same time-frame, we’ve got about 8 years to go. :)

Fantastic pics, brother! Absolutely loving the scenes you’re putting together. :D

Glad to read that you’ve not had any knee issues develop so far, too!

Thanks, my brother! Yes, knees are still strong! How about everyone else's? I do have a couple of very small chips in the paint but I've got a couple bottles of Mr Hobby for touch ups. Also got a bottle of top coat coming for his grey rib pieces to prevent scratching during transformation, but it's nothing worse than on every other MP I own.

My Prime needs to schedule a knee surgery with Ratchet. His right knee is starting to develop issues, so a preventative procedure is in order. I’d also like to find a good way to tighten up the waist swivel, as mine was loosened attempting to pop out an extremely stubborn ab joint.

I have a few paint chips here and there, but that’s to be expected when a figure is being thoroughly enjoyed. :D

Aw man, sorry to hear about your knee! I guess I should expect it eventually, but thank God for Brutiking! You think Future would work on that waist swivel? Mine's a little wobbly on my play copy so I may give it a try myself though it's no bother to me yet.

I'm so in love with 44 that I nearly forgot Bluestreak+ finally arrived here last week! Took a few shots, posed him on the shelf and that's mostly where he's been since while I've been occupied with the figure of my dreams!

Thanks, dude. It’s a bit of a bummer but I’m glad that it can be fixed. I’ll be connecting with BrutiKing soon as he offered help. Fortunately I’m not afraid to take apart my toys, I’ve been doing that since I was a kid! :D

Future may help with the waist. I’m hoping that I can tap the rivet back in and that will make it like new. Not sure if that’s possible.

I ordered my Bluestreak+ from TF Source and they still don’t have him in stock. I’m okay with that and Bumblebee’s delayed arrival as it gives me more time to give 44 my undivided attention. Looking forward to both those arrivals though, and super stoked for Hound!!

Neither do the TE-01's.... They have a large grey piece attached that makes it impossible to fit them inside MP-44's head. Pity, because the TE-01 antennae are much superior to MP-44's...

You are lucky having two. I will try getting a second one if a repaint I enjoy is out sometimes. Like a + one or something like that. Not into these shattered glass things...

Definitely am lucky! I hope this guy gets a + release and a few others, but this regular release is all I ever want or need.

Putting future on there will loosen up the paint. I used in in mines and developed a chips around thr lip. I've been thinking about buying a cheap soldering iron ,since they seem to have problems with rivets.

Thanks for that info! I won’t put Future in there. :)

I've had the figure since the first week, and I still can't put my thoughts into words... You summarized most of my feelings in your post.

He is incredible, awesome, frustrating, overpriced, superb, flawed, amazing, disappointing, just plain one-of-a-kind.
I do not regret my purchase, but would not buy him again.
    He is that good.

Just a small FYI for those in Omaha, Nebraska: a shop at Oakview mall called Legendary Wolf Gaming has two MP44s in stock with the Gundam model kits.
