When I was a kid, I was disappointed that they portrayed the limb Seacons as \"drones\". Up until then, I had viewed each of them as a member of a special-ops team on some alien waterworld.

 

That's not particularly removed from their US bios. It was just the Japanese Masterforce anime that made the limbs drones, and I suspect that's mostly due to Japanese customs and norms placing less emphasis on the villain characters.

 

You might be thinking of Nautilator? His original characterisation is that of a complete and total screw-up.

My guess is shortly after Unicron wraps up.

 

With the heavy focus on the BWII Seacons being more obvious I think it's a safe bet that we're going to see repaints of the existing Seacons into God Neptune in the future. Likely in 2021 since that's the year BW's 25th anniversary arrives and it'd be a good way for Takara to celebrate that year.

I just hope BBTS actually gets to relist the first two and puts up the others, I managed to preorder turtler and gulf before they took em down and, and I haven’t seen a single thing involving them coming back, ( and now they are basically sold out everywhere)

King Poseidon looks great. I can’t wait. And either way, if they do release a giftset later on, I don’t expect it to have any noteworthy boxart (just a sleeve like they did with Star Convoy).

I can see God Neptune giftset - sans Nautilator - happening in 2021.
