I thought this would just a normal Autoscout, but I like that little guy way better, what a cool little design. The flying thing is kinda cool too. Dig it. Totally want it. I am a sucker for cool tapes.

OK, so having no Siege figures, what kind of size are we talking about? Any chance these tape sizes are compatible with the G1/Masterpiece size?

Never expected Dr.Wu to start making 3P TFs of their own in addition to accessories. I guess it was just a matter of time.

 

I dig it! Would be even better if Rumble and Frenzy can "drive" or "operate" them.

 

End of this month or November, but probably a little later to us from the rest of the world. No mention on price tho.

 

The Siege tapes are noticeably smaller than the G1/MP cassettes.

It would be cool if we got modern updates of some other cassettes that came out from the old Microman/Diaclone line.

Price will be key here. 20 to 30 bucks for the set? Yes. 40 to 50? Hell no.

 

I love these. Hope there will more and maybe even some new versions of the classic cassettes that don’t get much exposure.

 

If there was a Siege scale Microman Cycle and Helicopter they could be engineered to have a current year Takara Dianaut be able to ride on it.

Another idea I always liked was the Unique toys Blaster Cassette that turned into his rifle - so more like would be fun too.

I wonder if the drone's panel gap on the underside can take input of a 5mm post. if it can then the flying drone could give a lift to the wheeled vehicle and also potentially work in some way with some existing or future siege style cassettes.

Also it's a small shame that both of them don't have a post and only one has ; as then they'd both have the armour panel modes too.
I like them though and I'm likely to get them.

Also have you considered buying some light up Ice cubes and placing them underneath to light them up ?

 

These look great! Would it be possible for Wu or another 3P to make WFC-S Soundwave compatible Rumble and Frenzy that are more articulated and complex? Or would that not be likely since Hasbro already has that mold ready to go?

 

I've wanted some update/re-release of that cassette motorcycle for a while. That would be a great idea, to have it be compatible with legends class or Titan/Prime masters.

Also, to Dr. Wu, could you add a 5mm peg to the bottom of the air drone cassette so it could be used as a flight pack for smaller TF's?

Finally, if Earthrise OP doesn't come with Roller (and if I get it and this set), I'm using the energon miner as Roller.

 

Very, very nice. I do love the classics, but it's refreshing to see something original in the way of cassette bots.

Yeah, I would pass at the latter price points too. Hopefully the come more reasonably priced.

Now that's an interesting idea. I would like it if that turned out to be a possibility.

Those look great! I hadn't thought of having something as raw energon. That would make for some cool scenes.

I had no idea light up ice cubes existed, but I'm glad to learn of them. Sounds like something that would be great for my displays.

They work quite well as Energon Cube or deposits some are actual cubes some are more melted looking - like this and so look a bit more rocks like - they come in various kinds too some have fixed colours - some change colour and some can be set at a particular colour.
They are usually about an Inch Square.





Larger sizes of Cube Exist too that are some sort of home Decor thing - those are about 4" across if you ever needed a large single cube for any reason.

They look like they'd work very sell scattered in the midst of those crystals.

 

Awesome, that is an upgrade set I can get behind! Now we get a G1 animal Laserbeak and a hovering drone that makes me think of Prime Laserbeak in a big way.

Laserbeak had to carry the first set and we're probably not going to see more after the second with the story moving to Earthrise (assuming we see the 2nd team at all, where are the pre-orders?), so extra cassettes is an easy way to add more bang to Wavey's deployer game.

I just hope they're on point with the measurements. ON TOP of my issues with Ravage's design, his fit in Wave was ever so slightly snug, annoying me every single time.
