Nah, he’s undercover. Anyway, it’s pretty interesting how they’re still calling themselves Ascenticons even with the traditional sigil on hand. Maybe the Decepticon name comes later. Great to see Alex Milne back. The blocky, stiff art from the earlier issues was starting to get on my nerves.
Issue #15 suggests that is when the Decepticon name arrives: A conspiracy unravels. The Autobots race to restore order. Megatron reaches his breaking point and Shockwave finds himself broken. There are no more Ascenticons. There is no more Rise. There are only... The Decepticons.
I like how the art makes those characters look alive even when Milne's drawing toy accurate C.O.M.B.A.T. ports on them.
This is so lame but the art is so good. Milne deserves better than this. I wonder why Jhiaxus is still in his T30 body. This really doesn't feel any different from old IDW when it's all the same characters who more or less look identical. You'd think this would be the perfect opportunity to redesign him into something actually Jhiaxus-looking.

We had half a decade of James Roberts comics, so they're going to make damned sure we get half a decade of "Roberts was bad" forum posts on the slightest pretext. Got to cement it as the One True Opinion.

coz it’s the most recent toy and why not? Betting a lot of people have that figure and it’s an appearance of a character people know so use the most recent(only mass retail released figure). Got me to take him off the shelf and fiddle with him for a while. or it’s “hey it’s Jhiaxus, let’s give him his toy body since it didn’t get much love in it’s one issue appearance in IDW”
