Just finished it. I really enjoyed the whole series - they nailed the tone and characters of both franchises, and the integration of Ectotron was much better than expected. Also, love the GB Prime color scheme.

    But....
Does the ending mean they’re going to do a sequel series or turn it into an ongoing? I would read it!

This was a cute read, glad I stuck around for the whole thing.

It felt a bit surreal because there was no Windblade, bland and pointless 'original characters' and a plot that just keeps dragging.. just some lighthearted fun. Welp back to the "Bold new era" I suppose...

Without delving into spoilers, I'm kind of pleased that the mini ended with a more upbeat, hope-filled turn than I would expect from this crossover, and seems to reflect Optimus Prime well. I'm also surprised this micro-continuity is continuing on, especially given that's it's based on a special edition toy and a Con-exclusive Masterpiece that's no longer available.

People shouldn’t go into comic discussion threads unless they’ve read the comic or don’t care about the risk of being spoiled.

Solid time. 10/10 for the whole series. Just some nice, lighthearted fun. Just a little disappointed they didn't do more with the Quintessons and instead went for Kremzeek, but hey, can't fault them for trying something new. Highly recommended. As for that "teaser" at the end, I don't think they meant that literally. I think it's more of just a joke of some kind. But hey, I'm down for more if they do it!

I could see a sequel dealing with Gozer and saving Cybertron.

Gozer should already be dealt with since the ghostbusters movies are in this continuity

Quick question, did you intend for Kremzeek to look like an imperial guard from Star Wars? Not asking as a criticism, just thinks it works really well as a repurposed figure

Huh. That's actually really interesting. It probably didn't come across this way in my comment, but I really do appreciate the different take on Kremzeek, it adds something new to the series. I'm just personally biased for those five-faced octopuses I guess lol.

And again, it really was a fantastic series! I enjoyed every minute of it, and it makes me want to check out the other Ghostbusters stuff you guys have done. Good work to you and everyone else involved!

    He's based on Mara-Al-Utha from Madman's Paradise.

Huh, interesting. Just a case of him being the most "ghostly" thing in the original cartoon, I guess?

I liked his use here, he felt like a good Ghostbusters style villain before bringing in Megatron et al as the more Transformers style villains.

Also, I'm really going to miss this series! I hope you had as much fun writing it as I know I had reading it. It was so good to see an Optimus with a sense of humor, Ectotron's interacts with the Ghostbusters were always entertaining, and the story didn't suffer from that overbloated/forced feeling that a lot of crossovers are in danger of. Thanks for your efforts!

I've read the whole thing in one go. I enjoyed it. Like you said they nailed the characters and I enjoyed Ectotron. My only hope is if they do produce a follow-up story, they bring in the femme-bots: Elita One, Chromia, etc. And let Optimus and Elita have a bit of romance and some fight time together on paper. Doubt it would ever happen but I can hope...
