Kapow has a message up now saying they're trying to get the site back up, hopefully today.

In some ways I hope they don't... but only because of the issues that ordering Unicron will bring... ;)

For anyone else interested in the Bandai space marine (I first came across it in this thread I think), the apparently limited ordering window is now open on the gw site.

On the robot front, have we seen everything we’re likely to see from NYCC now? Would love to see a cheeky scorp claw or something.

So Warudaros is going to be 41800 yen/£315, so more or less as expected.

Ouch but not as ouchy as Unicron @Loosecannon!

At that price I might have to skip. That's crazy. These prices made me walk away from MP.

I can justify that once in a while for a vintage piece, or a huge Brave boxset, but that's about what I paid for both of my Great Goldrans, including the totally gold chrome revival version.

Unrelated, it looks like Haslab Unicron is going to limp over the line which is absolutely fantastic as I know a lot of people really want that, but man, I don't trust those numbers at all. More dubious number increases than Goldberg's undefeated streak.

Yeah, somehow justified it by selling MP44. When that arrived and all the issues with the knees just made me stop - and that gave me enough reason to sell the MP+ figures I had, meaning I have the cash in the paypal to just go for Unicron.

Been listing a few more things on ebay today which has been quite nice, could get a bit ruthless later though. I think even the Maketoys Headmasters/Targetmasters may go on since it looks like that line is dead too. I have always had issues with incomplete sets of figures, so think it might be time to free up some extra space!

I think I just saw @Seeaich through the window at Halifax train station. Celeb spotting!

He was walking along platform 2. This is incredible. If I wasn’t with my girlfriend, her mum, and her sister I’d have rushed off and got an autograph.

Hey all, I wonder if anyone has any advice or experience they can share?

I mailed a couple of items overseas to the US after they purchased them on eBay - not using the GSP but with tracked international shipping. Tracking shows they are in the US but have made no progress for a week after entering some kind of sorting facility in New York State. Buyers are opening cases and getting tetchy because of the lack of progress as shown by the tracking.

I suspect they will need refunding in the short term, but should the tracking update and show that items got delivered, is there any chance eBay/PayPal will return a payment to me from anyone's experience?

Thanks in advance, all the best
    Maz

That was indeed my glorious self off on a Mirage hunt!
What's an adopted Leodesian doing slumming it in the 'Fax?

On the Mirage front Bradford was a bust, their Smyths had everything but! FOUR Refraktors, FIVE Brunts, a pair each of Red and Impactor, even Screamer and Springer! A veritable cornucopia of Robotery!

    I bloody knew it! Incredible!
I was on the train to Hebden Bridge. Where my girlfriend is now leading us on a blind chase to find hard lands crag. Wish me luck, as I do to you and the MIRAGE HUNT!
I did consider knocking on the window and waving, but a) wasn’t 100% it was you and b)even if it was it’d be potentially disconcerting

From what I've read from the Chinese seller thread, US Customs are a bit notorious for their lack of punctuality.

As they're US buyers, they should surely know better than putting a claim in.

I've been utilising public transport so long that an online familiar face rapping on and gesticulating thru a train window wouldn’t disconcert me at all, everybody who saw me waving, pointing and chortling like a loon might be though so good call.
I have indeed snagged t'last Mirage in't shop from under the noses of some fellow fans I overtook at the pedestrian crossing near crown point, my further apologies to you if you are a fellow TFWUKer, your one consolation is you have experienced me in all my sweaty from powerwalking glory!

Oh, and a spare Sixgun to boot as Games & Cards have him at a quid more at the mo!

    Happy Crag hunting!
