Deadlok looks like he could be repainted/retooled into Blur. Of course he could also be repainted into Drift. Lockdown I suppose you can get AM Axer.

 

If a reverse-leg could be fudged, I'd say Tracks. His alt mode could be retooled for spikes. Replace his right hand with a hook. Replace the head and you're a new deco away from a decent G1 Lockdown.

 

Lockdown’s card art has Rodimus’s wrist pipes and the same crotch design Rodimus has in the card art.

 

No Siege figures will be repacked.

Just saying Earthrise line, you have the power to make us finally abandoned those mistakes. Im mean you’re finally giving us the Optimus and Starscream you could’ve given us within those 10 years so you don’t just have to scam us out of the same G1 characters again.

Edit: a new Drift and G1 Lockdown would be nice. I really hope this line doesn’t consist of characters who already got updated figures During T30th to Titans Return.

 

But the ROTF Deluxe Lockdown also has wrist pipes and that crotch design.

 

I think the scenario is different, but it’s still the same core character.

 

Astrotrain is in the last Siege assortment and the first Earthrise assortment. Smashdown is also being re-released. Those are repacks.

 

But the card game art has Hot Rod with that crotch design.

 

I know its not happening but they really should consider a damageless variation of Astro for that line. Give a lot of us a reason to even get him at retail price plus it’ll help those who want to save up on him if he ends up being a pain to get during the Holiday season(assuming he even shows up before then).

Also Everyone focusing on Conehead retools when we should be considering the possibility of a Voyager G1 Slipstream.

 

Cliffjumpers design is odd to me. Since we are going back to g1 he should resemble a super deformed Porsche 924 in sum way. But decided into a proper Porsche 924 instead. This by far is not a bad thing, far from it. It removes him further from having him to become a repaint of Bumblebee. It was just an odd dissension to me. Until I realized the genius of this dissension. We had a fan vote and Runamuck won. And Runabout will of course not be far behind. Clffjumpers backpack and the chest looks like it turns around were dead giveaways. The Cliffjumer mold is going to be retooled into a Runamuck. And if they are ambitious enough, Throttlebots.

 

Decepticon twins from Cliffjumper sounds like a good plan to me. I'm really excited for them, my only concern is Runabout being packed in with a bunch of other stuff or being hard to obtain. I'd like to army build both.

 

Hopefully Runamuck and Runabout will come in a 2pk. If not, Runamuck will go to retail stores and Runabout will end up being a Selects figure. Since most of the Selects are repaints and retools of main line figures.

 

Cliffjumper is way too small to be properly retooled into Runamuck and Runabout, he's absolutely tiny. I find Wheeljack or a new mold far more likely.

I see where you are coming from, but Cliffjumper is in the Deluxe price point and most of the deluxes have been close to the same height. Iron Hide clearly towering over all others. I just took 6 Deluxe figures and put them from tallest to shortest. Chromia, Hound and Flywheels look like the same height and are a little taller than Reflector, Prowl and Red Alert who are also the same height. The shot has Cliffjumper crouching and not up straight so it is difficult to ascertain his height on the pics alone. I believe he will be Sideswipes height, but until we get a pic of him side by side with what is in hand either of us could be right. I just hope they do not pull a Studio Series Jazz on us again.

 

If that mercenary thing is anything to go by I guess Doubledealer is definitely on the table.
With the drop in quality I hope WFC can still do him justice.

 

The Hasbro reps already stated that they're engineering Runamuck with the "two-wheels-per-foot" design. Unless they retool fake wheels, the Cliffjumper mold nor the Wheeljack mold would be suited for Runamuck. Far more likely would be Runamuck coming first, then Runabout & the Throttlebots being mold reuses.

Of course he isn't Sideswipe's height. Sideswipe is 4m tall, Cliffjumper is 3m tall.

 

Not saying it cannot be Wheeljack, just look at the TFCC.

Again, they said they're going to engineer the two-wheel-per-foot design. Additionally, Siege has began a totally different paradigm. Hasbro raised the bar in terms of scale, joint quality, articulation and character accuracy. The figures you're citing came before this change, so many of the design sensibilities from them no longer apply. The character representations are getting better and better every year. Why would they regress their engineering practices for one(non-master) character, the fan vote character of all?
