    Yeah but it better have them in both directions in the hips...if they flop around on one axis then there’s no point in having them at all. And a lot of companies, even Hasbro and Takara, still do this. So I’m not holding my breath until there’s confirmation it’s forward/backward AND side to side.

    The more I look at this guy, the more I'm thinking he'll be the one I get. Model Wizard's (Wei Jiang) Megaton definitely has a popping paint scheme, but this guy's paint is objectively more accurate and he has an updated/ improved transformation.

    Man, ~14.5" next to thunder leader's 11.5", I think that's too far from scale to justify that much shelf space.

    Seems awful picky. To be exactly at movie scale against Thunder Leader (officially 29cm), LS-12 would need to stand 36.25cm tall - according to the announcements he's just 3.5mm (a hair over 1/8") over it.

    2007 Megs (35') was a good 25% taller than 2007 Prime (28').

    Wow. Didn't realize. Optimus at eye level with meganips just seemed like too big a difference. I guess we'll see what I decide if honey badger ever responds to my cancellation request. That is a lot of shelf space though, but a nice backpack.

    They don't ever really show it in the movie (I just checked). They're rarely on screen side-by-side and standing - one or the other is laying down or otherwise hard to compare, and half the time Megs isn't even standing up straight anyway. But they definitely imply that Megs is a lot bigger, such as...

    His name is MEGAtron, while I can't speak for the original G1 era but certainly in the 00s era Megatron was about equal to Optimus' super modes in height, therefore in his core form he was notably smaller.

    So, I saw on the WJ Megatron thread that the "updated" backpack is just a miss transformation and there are no new modifications? Anyone know anything about that?

    Also, good seeing you here from the Honey Badger thread :)  Loved that KO but I sold it recently because I decided to keep the BA OP instead of MPM 4 :(
