Those new figures look great, they have good poses, the best thing is that it is no longer called "Warrior" if not "Deluxe", with those figures they should have started TF Cyberverse, now if they look collectible, maybe they are given an opportunity for this improvement.

The Maccadam design looks like an easy repaint +noggin custom using Prime: First Edition Bulkhead.

I guess the term \'deluxe\' is true here; compared to the warrior figures etc. these really are luxury figures ;)  I\'m actually quite tempted by all of these.

    Ebay:
Fishy and Kitty? What are the actual toy names?

Pretty sure that other than combiners Transmuate is the only BAF that comes to mind

How does it work well? People either steal the BAF part out of the box because that's all they want or the opposite, they try to sell them on ebay because they only wanted the figure. And then there are guys like me that don't collect Marvel but once in a while there's a figure I really like & I get stuck with a stupid useless BAF part. I had a useless Ultron body kicking around here for a while but I finally traded it off in a junk lot to the flea market. Now I have a stupid Hulk body that came with Rescue. I don't think they work well at all & I'm surprised they keep doing it.

And if they do it with Transformers are they gonna actually be transformers? Or just be a regular stupid action figure like Transmutate?

If they start doing it with Transformers I'm gonna get stuck with a ton of extra junk BAF parts. "Sell them"? I can't stand that selling shit! Ebay screwed me over multiple times so now I just talk about selling but it put such a bad taste in my mouth I procrastinate & keep putting it off & never actually do it. I'd rather poke my eyes out than find boxes & packing supplies & run down to the stupid post office & stand in line constantly. Those days sucked & I'm glad they're behind me.

The first two waves of Mini-Cons from RID 2015 came with clear plastic accessories that could combine to form a lion and a shark, they do not have official names.

little nameless energon critters each made from armor pieces of 4 deployer minicons.
I think that works better because the pieces have a role other than "broken toy" if you don't have them all, it's included with the cheapest toys in the line, it's 1 complete baf per wave, and the characters are generic characters that you won't miss if you can't get them.

I think it's a bad idea that they choose a unique character like maccadam for this, that they're splitting him over 2 waves, and that it's going to cost me around €200 to complete him if I can actually find all pieces.

I can't rely on physical stores because they are years behind, often skip waves, and often get half of a wave and 5 duplicates.
I can't rely on toy store websites because they group all characters under 1 item, and I'm not paying €25 a piece for what's effectively blind packs.
and I can't rely on collector stores because they don't bother with current cartoon lines.
that leaves amazon and eBay, where shipping, taxes, import fees, and scalping are likely to raise the price to anywhere between €250 and €500.

I haven't been interested in Cyberverse outside of the cool cartoon. But that Thew Adams figure is a great likeness

I’m interested in seeing more of these. I can’t collect another line, just can’t do it. But if they did a Cyberverse Hot Rod in this style I might be tempted. That character is great in the show.

Hears news about Cyberverse getting proper deluxes: Ok, cool!

Sees theyre basically still just Warriors but with improved articulation and Siege blast effects:
O-ok, thats... Odd, but better articulation is always good and this looks like its up to par with pre-Prime Wars Generations; All the basic required limb joints like thigh and bicep swivels, and most of them seem to have waist swivels, but not all. Prime's and Meg's and Shockwave's blast effects look like they're Siege compatible, which is cool, and looking closely Shockwave definitely has a Siege blast effect post on the end of his cannon arm. Cross-line compatibility is awesome.

    Looks at the Macaddam figure:
Finally, a Thew figure for my collection! Anyways, yeets the alchemist prime prime master that I'm only saying I have for this joke over to ebay. He looks amazing. Thanks to the balljoints, it looks like his hips and shoulders are going to be universal, I can see thigh swivels in there I think, and that balljoint on the torso means he'll not only have a waist swivel, but an ab crunch! The only thing that looks limited about him is his elbows, they don't seem to have a cut to go 90 degrees. Or do anything but swivel. Here's hoping I'm wrong about that. And, being a build-a-figure is going to be paaaiiiinful, but otherwise, he looks fantastic! Anyone making a collection of the Thirteen who isnt resorting to prime masters anyways is gonna snap him up in nanoseconds. I can totally see him alongside MMC's take on Prima and Solus Prime.

@TFanPage101 noticed that these guys have C.O.M.B.A.T. nubs on them.

So you can totally slap Siege blast effects onto them.

Now, if the BAF is divided among eight toys, that means I won't have to buy them all, as it would be too much effort and I can't even complete a McDonalds toy collection. But that doesn't mean I won't get whatever figure I can get my hands on. They are still what I wanted out of Cyberverse.
The only figure I will put extra effort on getting is whichever comes with Mac's head. The rest I can build and even make him transformable. I was just eyeing a cheap Animated Bulkhead the other day.

Hey! If they are using the WEAPON system and all around WFC compatibility, I hope they release Weaponizer counterparts of the Spark Armors.

This looks like more WFC figures but for the cartoon, and that\'s all they had to do really.

I\'m sure that, just like the Marvel build-a-figures, they\'ll be KOs of just Macadams.

    I wonder if it  transforms?

I don't collect Cyberverse, so, this instance doesn't really affect me...but I sure hope the BAF approach doesn't bleed over into the other TF lines. It seems like half the ML figures I want require that I buy stuff I don't want just to get one thing I do want. I finally got a BAF Thanos recently because I was "lucky" enough to find one complete and loose at a local shop at a price I could talk myself into paying.

I get why they do it...but it's kind of crooked and cheap. I don't expect my sole opinion to make much of a difference...but if Hasbro is reading this, I'd like them to know that I will avoid buying their products on sheer principle if this BAF stuff becomes rampant amongst TFs.
