So for those who invested in Armageddon, is it worth investing in Bruticon? Sorry if this has been asked. If it's just the color then I am out. If however, there is some significant stability issues with Armageddon that are solved with Bruticon then perhaps I might sell off my Armageddon and buy him. Any input is appreciated.

 

Massive improvement on Bruticon. I feel Armageddon is the weakest of Zetas combiners and Bruticon is like Kronos in stability.

Zeta ditched the diecast in the combiner feet and tightened up at least the swindle knee joint. You can now bend that knee, holding Swindle, and the joint won't pop. Bruticon is definitely lighter than Armageddon too which I think helps.

If your Armageddon is like Kronos in stability it probably isn't worth swapping.

 

And I think I am a sucker for the new color scheme too. I can make some of my money back. It looks like stability is a known issue with Armageddon so I might just sell him and invest in Bruticon.

Looks pretty damn sweet. I am on the fence and so close to just buying him tonight. The colors have me pretty much sold at this point.

 

What store that sells him the cheapest?

 

I am looking at Showz since I am a premium member. With his program I can get like 9 bucks back so it's about $320 and I can use the savings towards some future orders I have with him.

 

I got him at ShowZ because he was cheaper there than my usual suppliers. I was very happy with them, and the shipment was surprisingly fast: the average time of delivery they have for my country (Poland) is 28 days, he was here in a week and a half. The individual figures are kinda OK, but once you combine him - Whoa! no regrets!   Also, no QC issues that there were with Toyworld's Devastator, which was a nice bonus.

 

Can you buy the bruticon platforming parts separate?

 

Nope.

At least not yet anyway. Who knows what Zeta's plans are?

Was shopping around eBay and local vendors for Bruticon but still found ShowZ to be the best bargain for me. Now to patiently wait for my shipping notice.

 

Well, mine finally arrived today. It took it 5 days to get from Dallas to West Monroe which is just a 6 hour drive. I hate waiting .Now its time to pop this bad boy open.

Stayed up way past my bedtime to get this big boy together.  I can see Zeta's Kronos coming in the future for combined mode.

 

I finally put him together today (took me 4 hours) and man what a beast.

Added some must needed custom parts (made by ShadowOfSilver) to make him more toon accurate (Head, Vortex fins, Chest Plate, gun). Man what a difference it all makes, why couldn't Zeta do that in the first place. Now he looks like BRUTICUS!!!

Looks like he is pretty popular and cannot wait to get mine I bought from Showz. He has it listed as sold out again as of this morning.

 

Well I am happy that I sold Armageddon to a fellow member for $210 shipped which will give me room for Bruticon.    He was almost Mint save for one panel that I had a mishap with which the buyer had no problem with. Sweet deal for sure!
