Bruh this is sweet! Forgetting that these are the best Cyberverse figures ever made, that Maccadam! He’s got a torso joint! I don’t know how well it can be used but it’s there! I’m not a fan of the forearms but otherwise this is a genius line concept. Rack and Ruin would be great for the next BAF and I’m hoping for a Seeker mould at some stage.

Just wait for the inevitable KO instead of wasting money on 10 crappy figures that have better CHUG versions.

I think Hasbro just copied the text from the old Cyberverse Warrior listing and find-and-replaced "Action Attack" with "[New Attack Name]".

Because these are $20 Deluxes and not $15 Warriors. Seems like they may be phasing out the latter.

I like the BAF idea. Will be interesting to see if that does well enough to cross into Generations. With Weaponizers and Modular Battle Stations now a Thing, that seems like a fun way to bring a little extra incentive to buy a wave.

Cyberverse must be doing quite well if they got the OK to introduce a true Deluxe pricepoint, and pretty cool they're including blast effects.

Also a good sign for WfC if they're crossing gimmicks over between it and Cyberverse.

I think it’s because Cyberverse has had a larger fan reception than we all expected.

I figured it'd do fine. A lot of the same people freaked out over RiD and that ended up producing some pretty great stuff.

This forum has a bad habit of overestimating it's influence on the product.

I think also that Cyberverse has a lot more talent and care being put in. RID was very kids. Cyberverse seems more kids but adults dig it for the fun.

I think RiD took a lot more risks, which was good. New characters, new spins on classic characters....it was a great way to have connections to the source without leaning on nostalgia.

They've gotta put care into the media line, because that's what hooks the new audiences.

Like Warden said today, G1 is G1...but for some people Beast Wars, Animated, the Bayverse, or Unicron Trilogy, etc, were how other generations first got into it.

For as much as I loathe the movies, look at what they're doing with Studio Series. There's some great fun toys there even if the characters weren't all that memorable (Barricade)

    But why? They're already out?

@Digger I like Cyberverse but it has quality control issues. Bad wings, weird articulation, soft, easily scratched paint.

RiD15 was far better in that respect. Very fun line. Wish it'd gone on a bit longer.

These aren't Warriors, and it'd make sense if Hasbro is introducing a Deluxe class they'd start by going back to the primary cast.

Will be interesting to see if they do a new Grimlock at some point. If the line keeps selling they could transition it into a more traditional Deluxe/Voyager/Leader style for a bit.

So what? There are other characters people would like to see. Constant character repeats get tiresome, especially in a line that is plagued with issues and a tad overpriced.

Slipstream, Megs, Bee, Grim and Shocky already got several re-releases in different size classes. I get some of those are perennial favorites, but Hasbro needs to give other characters a chance in the spotlight. Where is the widespread release of Jetfire, Rack n Ruin, Cheetor, Chromia and Arcee? Maccadam should not be relegated to such a limited and aggravating thing as BAF. Thundercracker is a TrU exclusive, which you'll note is no longer in the US. I never saw any version of Shadowstriker anywhere. Acid Storm's release was short-lived. The Scraplet and Skybite seem rather scarce.

Well, goggles are all the rage with the Lunarians. Rung and Maccadams were quite ahead with the times.

Being that I literally have no knowledge or familiarity with Cyberverse, I actually thought Maccadam was a new Beast Machines Optimus Primal figure.

its difficult enough buying the individual components of a 5 bot combiner over here so i am not going to hold out much hope of achieving full maccadam  . He does look pretty good though .

Never expected to see Transformers build-a-figures, but makes sense for Maccadam. And these deluxes look good too! Even have ankle tilts. First Cyberverse Megs that has a good tank mode. Gonna grab them. Hope we get more waves of this series

I think you guys are talking about the toys. I’m talking about the shows.

So my point restated is that we have good Cyberverse toys now because the show had an oddly positive reception from older fans.
