I can't decided if Soundbarrier is just a dumb concept, or actually kinda awesome, because he's such a ridiculously dumb concept.

Also, Hoist almost looks like a little MP fig till you realize he's missing a rather signature piece of equipment.
[EDIT] Actually, I had a sudden notion, went and checked, and wouldn't you know it...G1 Hoist never has a crane...So #$%^ me.

I love Cliffjumper. I don't even care if he has a bit of a bulky backpack, I love that he's so not a BB repaint.

Not sure if I like Wheeljack enough to replace the Generations one. I mean it looks alright, but not enough to make me want it.

 

Where\'s WFC-E2?

 

Ironworks, Wheeljack, and Grapple are my definite favorites here. Hoist and Cliffjumper have small issues for me but I may just end up picking them up anyway. The new Optimus and Starscream are definitely not anything I need.

 

They turn into a bird and a cat while still having a casette type of mode that can go in soundwaves chest. That thing is a figure with a plank on its back.

 

it\'s a good time to be a transfomers fan great reveals of mini masterpiece chug figures and finally good cyberverse toys , yes I know alot of people are getting sick of seeing G1 don\'t worry my friends beast wars r.i.d 2001 and ucicron triogoly etc etc is coming on the way 

 

Still holding out hope they'll work out the issues with the blue molding on Optimus and give us a re-release in some fashion with the render's colors someday. And if he doesn't come with the trailer, all the better.

 

Has anybody tell why no WFC-E2?

 

Man, what a great time to be a TF fan! These figures are all amazing, but Cliffjumper, Starscream, and Prime have me the most excited. It's been too long since Cliffjumper had a proper update, so him getting such a good one is a true gift! Likewise, Starscream, though not perfect, will make for an excellent addition to the collection, as will the eventual Seeker repaints. Though Siege Optimus is still my definitive CHUG Prime, Earthrise Optimus looks to be the Marvel G1 Prime I've wanted for a loooong time (with a few paint changes on my part, that is!). Somewhere down the line, I'm hoping we'll get Earthrise versions of Ironhide and Ratchet too. That will be a good day indeed!

 

Please quote why there is no WFC-E2? Who is that mystery character? Is it another Battle Master?

So Cliffjumper now transforms into what looks like a Mitsubishi Starion instead of a Porsche 924.

 

I believe John Warden said they're rereleasing Smashdown, so it's probably that.

 

I do wonder though... did anyone told Warden if there will any re-releases for any of the Siege Battlemasters in some sort of value pack form?

 

The micromasters , Grapple and Hoist are my must haves . Cliffjumper is a maybe . 

Optimus and Starscream look nice but i have plenty of versions of them already .

 

I hope for Trailbreaker.

Yeah, he's listed in the EE set of 2 wave 1 Battlemasters. Astrotrain's in leader wave 1 with Optimus, guessing he's WFC-E12. I wonder if they'll be straight rereleases in new packaging or if they'll be given a slight redeco.

 

Apart from the usual "hey, there's this brick glued underneath my sleek jet"? Just looks ugly compared to the immediately previous figure, which I regard as something of a masterwork. Siege Starscream got me to buy HasTak toys again after 30 years. This new figure... won't be touching it.

The non-micro figures are quite nice, but I was hoping that Earth stuff would be pushed back to the third part (actually, I was hoping Earth wouldn't feature at all, but that seems a forlorn hope these days). Also a little torn by Cliffjumper being as tall as Prowl, but I'll get over it.

 

I\'m wondering if we can switch from using the CHUG title to just straight GENERATIONS now?

 

Not to dampen the mood but my brother died today. I thought coming here would ease a little. Can’t even enjoy scorponoks reveal. The figures look amazing.
