OH gotta say I REALLY hope the whole BaF thing starts and ends with the childrens focused line. I have no intention of either hunting down a bunch of figures I don't want or paying aftermarket prices for a non-transforming BaF that might have its place in my collection. As it is I never got all the parts of Transmutate and I actively collected the BW10th line at the time due to lackluster stocking in my area and it's something I'll never forgive Hasbro for

Are the blast effects compatible with Siege and the upcoming Earthrise figures?

All the blasters look to either have a port for the big cannons or a little tip for the smaller guns, just like the weapons on Siege figures.

They had me until I saw the gimmicks. Seriously Optimus can’t even get a descent figure.

You mean the blast effects? Which seem to be entirely optional and just plug on?

I’m bracing for a flood of posts from people finding open packages in Walmart with the BAF pieces stolen out of them.

Oh God PLEASE DON'T! I don't want to be forced to buy every single figure in a wave. There is never a wave where I want every single figure.

I look at Marvel Legends & think to myself "Thank God I don't have to put up with that BAF shit!" I'd rather have the BAF sold separately so I can buy it if I like it or skip it. BAF is just a trick to get suckers to buy every single figure in a wave.

These guys look pretty good.  That\'s the great given they\'re the only way to get Maccadam, who I\'m totally counting as one of the thirteen.

So you're expecting a BAF like that to transform into a huge, clockwork-and-gears-filled abomination?

As I said in the other thread before its closing, I am all in for Alchemist Prime. That is likely the closest to a Generations toy that we will get of him or any of the Thirteen. Might just sell off the ones that I don't like as much at a loss.

Because every single cyberverse toy has been cheaply made and disappointing
And i get it because they are for kids
And just because they “look” better won’t mean that they are better, but who knows i may be wrong, the bumblebee looks decent unlike the other 3

Actually yes, that would be great, I’d want a siege maccadam that turned into a drunk clockwork gear filled steampunk abomination

Don’t know if you’ve picked any up lately, but the armor up figures have been getting pretty good reviews from members of the community who’ve got them in hand. These look to continue that trend.

Read the product descriptions. It talks about built in gimmicks.

I did, but there are also no visible springs on these figures, they have all the major articulation points and all their limbs are ball joints. The “gimmick” seems to be marketing language for “open up chest, insert clear piece”. Of course we’ll have to wait until one of our friendly neighborhood reviewers gets one to know for sure.
