Maybe someone already called it, but it looks like they are making a Roller figure out if the CW Rook mold. That will be nice but he won’t be as big and impressive as the IDW take on him. Still really cool though.

That's actually just Unite Warriors Roller, not a new Roller figure.

It’s funny how this line has absolutely no context to it. My theory is that part one, “Siege” must be taking place during the last days of the Cybertron war. Then part two, “Earth Rise” is obviously the war on earth after the fall of Cybertron and part three might be based around the autobots reclaiming Cybertron. This could all work as a prequel to the Prime wars trilogy and I kinda feel like the next trilogy should be Beast Wars.

Does anyone know if the Netflix series is supposed to be based off this toy line or is it going to tie in to the movie verse?

I honestly think that most all of them look pretty good, and I like the deluxe-bot-becomes-a-modular-micromaster-base gimmick. But...I was REALLY hoping for a Cybertronian Wheeljack.

Are there any estimates on how big those cyberverse figures are?

From what I can see I'd put money on the heads being easy to swap, it looks like the EXACT see mold with different colors. That's probably why they gave it different colors.

The legs are a maybe, I'd have to see the hips in more detail. Swapping at the knees however is a probably, but you'd have to undo and redo pins.
After looking closer, the hands are probably a no go, different connection style. Sorry 'bout that one.

Now that I am caught up on the thread, I'd like to thank everyone who made my read longer by repeatedly asking the same questions that have already been answered...

I see lots of people saying the new Cyberverse figures looks good...but no pics plastered all over the thread like the Earthrise figs...where can I go to view them?

Yeah, pretty much. We all thought they'd use the Wheeljack mold but that's likely to be Tracks.

Especially since Cliffjumper is also on the smaller side. It's a perfect fit.

Welp. I'm going bankrupt next year. I will not be able to resist Earth Mode Optimus Prime and Starscream, let alone the characters I don't have.

Also, those Cyberverse figures look amazing. THAT is what I was disappointed we didn't get when the line was first revealed. Bumblebee alone, comparing that to Sting Shot Bumblebee, it's like a Turbo Changer next to MPM-3. Love it!

100% the toyline. The Netflix show at the moment is literally called Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy

my gut says that's plot wise, it's going to follow the beats of the toy line and essentially be a more mature cyberverse. (more of the goddamn same G1 rehashing...)

Season one: Siege (Cybertron) the very tale end of the war covering the same time frame of events that Fall of Cybertron video game did ending either with the launch of the ark from cybertron of the ark crashing into mount saint hilary.

season 2: Earthrise (earth shenanigans) Probably the closest thing to a real G1 rehash well ever get outside of literally revising G1. Hell maybe even the season opener will be a retelling of more than meets the eye parts 1-3

Season 3: whatever is appropriate to go with the toy line theme. My current guess is a season long retelling of the events of Transformers the Movie with Unicron being the climax (maybe some bits from season 3 thrown in like the quintessons)

Seeing as how Haslab Unicron's release would coincide with the 3rd part of the war for cybertron trilogy toyline, it makes sense to theme it around his release.

iI actually have a theory that Hasbro was always planning on releasing a Unicorn as part of the 3rd line. however they wanted to really go out with a bang, hence a mega Unicron crowdfunding. If Unicron failed, they would have just released a titan class Unicron to appease us all on his failure. if he succeeds, well then jus6t whatever titan happens to be next. Maybe a Primus (planet cybertron) to go with Unicron.

Do Runabout/amok have any "from canon" options for big ass weapons like CJ's cannon? I'm not against them using the CJ skeleton for the two (and the Throttlebots), but it'd be nice to get some good armament to go along if they'll be on the smaller side

I think part of what bothers me about Prime's fists isn't just that they aren't blue, but that they are such a light color. Even black or dark gray would have looked better than light gray.

The yellow eyes don't bother me. The vintage toy had yellow eyes so it's not entirely unprecedented.

Maybe we can get a later release with all the gray parts cast in blue plastic and the waist, thighs, and bumper chromed.

Ooh, loving that Hoist! He's fantastic!

Never thought I'd be excited for a Grapple but... here we are.

Also I quite like Cliffjumper and Wheeljack.

Starscream is cool but I'll need to see more. I mean at first glance it looks like they addressed most of the nitpicks people have with the seekers which is great.... but I think I have enough Screamers. The annoying thing is I'd absolutely get a Skywarp of that mould.
