Oshit, that Cliffjumper is distinctively based on a Porsche 924 / 944 body type like the original and I can now die happy.

So does that ramp/shield Battlemaster have a name? I can't find anything.
(Though it is hard to google a name for something when you don't know the name, lol)

I honestly like that Cliff a lot. After years of just straigt Bee redecos and Prime Cliffs we finally get a proper G1 Cliff with, as it seems, some of his iconic weapons. He is an instand buy for me.
Prime is nice, might be on my list. I just have to wait and see if I can add more space to my shelf and if so I can get him.
Starscream is also not bad looking but as with Prime I have to wait and see more of the figure and if we finally get the coneheads of this mold.
The rest is also pretty good, I am just no fan of Grapples altmode. Also I love fatty Hoist a lot.

Those new Cyberverse figures don´t look bad. Those might be the first Cyberverse figures I might try to get.
Also is that a peg on Bees chest? If so could this mean they try to cross sell those Cyberverse figures with the Generations Battlemaster figures and the effect parts that come with them?

Anyway, good looking figures so far. I just hope they keep up with the designe qualitie of the Generation figures and give us some more obscure characters.

Because it's very clearly based on the Classics figure and at the panel they said it was as well.

I really like what I'm seeing here. That said, you have to wonder at some point how many times can they do Starscream, Optimus, etc.

Even the paint looks good again. I see only one glaring issue - Cliffjumper should not have red arms.

Earthrise Starscream will be at least as tall as Siege Starscream. Here'a a comparison of the old Classics vs Siege (vs Blitzwing, just because).

Those are Cyberverse Deluxes. $19.99 just like the Generations WFC and SS Deluxes. They seem compatible with the weapons effects too.

Looking at what they've shown us so far, this is what I think they're doing for this line:
    - Leaders will switch from "voyager with armor" to "voyager with base" (and Astrotrain was probably originally planned for Earthrise but moved into Siege last minute)
    - C.O.M.B.A.T. will continue, but will have the A.I.R. base connectors as a secondary theme for this line
    - Weaponizers will become bases this time around, though we will hopefully get a Fasttrack for Scorpinok who will be the current style weaponizer (not a base)
    - Since this seems to focus on Earth, they may hold the remaining Targetmasters back for part 3, if it is going to be '86 movie + Rebirth

We still haven't seen the armored car figure (was this a voyager or leader rumor, I can't remember?), or the commander that compliments Omega.

    Johnathan,

I logged in today only to express my extreme displeasure with Leader Optimus Prime. His grey fists and combat deck look absolutely abysmal. Fix it. PLEASE. It made sense before with the POTP Leader because he combined with his big grey Trailer, but this...this just looks awful. A true eyesore. This toy just went from a total "buy" to a complete "PASS!" I will not settle for missed marks and just "good enoughs." Not sorry. And quite frankly, I am very upset. Better planning should be taken with toy design. This is a multi-billion dollar company and they can't even stay true to their own character's design history. You amaze us with renders of one thing and then deliver something else. Yes, it is NOT "geewun" enough. Fix It. How do you fix it? You mold the runners in all the necessary plastic colors, gather up the correctly colored plastic sections, go off and assemble the correctly colored figures with those runner sections, .....then you take all the extra wrong color runner sections (grey fists, battle platform, trailer ramp, etc.) and cobble those together with their own unique paint apps as the repaint of this figure and sell it as a special exclusive. There. Now you don't have to modify the mold or tool even more molds just to correct the toy colors and you get even more product to sell out of it. Molding 1 figure in multiple plastic colors and swapping around the sections to make multiple unique figures in done all the time. Glyos does this ALL the time. It's nothing new and not hard. You can do it too. Fix it.

    Sincerely,

    ~Netkid

If it wasn’t clear before, folks, this thread contains absolute, irrevocable proof that Geewunners never can and never will be pleased with anything Hasbro offers them.

I’m guessing if this gets a Bumblebee retool, he’ll be a Mustang.

Or maybe Bumblebee gets a distinct mold and we get Hubcap.
