Cliffjumper's alt mode is the Porsche that original toy had, but not super deformed. Like the first MP Bumblebee's VW mode.

That’s Wandering Roller from the Unite Warriors Grand Galvatron set. I have no idea why he’s part of this display. I guess it’s just because he’s Roller, but that’s a super weird choice for them to display a long-since sold out Japan-only figure alongside all these brand new toys. I’d love to see a Battlemaster or Micromaster Roller but it seems Hasbro has very little interest in continuing the Battlemaster class (only one new figure for the new toyline alongside a straight repack of Smashdown).

I see it as a little from column A, little from column B.
We'd all love better paint apps, but at the same time there is definitely a vocal "we won't be satisfied until you sell us a 1:1 recreation of the design from a cartoon with inconsistent designs" crowd.

Yes but we shouldn't pretend like it's exclusively G1 fans that have that problem.

Upon closer inspection, I still like Starscream a lot (looks like the best all-around version of the character we've gotten for a Generations collection), but I wish he had the same hip/pelvis assembly that the Tetrajet version had. I love that design, where instead of hip skirts the whole chunk of the pelvis rotates up with the leg. It offers a great range of motion while still looking pretty good aesthetically when posed around. I was hoping that was becoming the norm for TF hips. Ah well. Still looks like a very nice figure.

It's not exclusively G1 fans, but it's predominantly G1 fans.

I like everything, but especially Grapple, Hoist, and Cliffjumper. I need that Cliffjumper more than I've needed any Transformer in a very long time. He has been one of my most favorite character designs ever since I was a kid.

Damn you’re spot on about that coneheads remark. I think they are guaranteed in that case. Can’t wait..they suck as characters..but I love their design.

By all means, keep denying that which is painfully obvious to the rest of us.

Looks like he has CW-Aerialbot collapsing legs instead of straight sliders (huge improvement) and a few other tiny flourishes, but yeah, it's the classics mold, more or less, at the "correct" size

You’re not a real figure collector if you don’t have a primary color kit of model paint...lol

Wheeljack, Starscream, and Prime w/trailer are passes. I'm good with MP Wheeljack for the G1 look, I wanted him and Bee to have their Cyberton hover saucer modes. Oh well.

Will get Hoist, Grapple, Cliffjumper, and Iron Works. Are they really not having the extra battle decos though? At least have dirt and grime for their alt modes. That's what really set this line apart, the battle damage really makes the figures pop. Wheeljack especially looks plain and boring.

What's this!? Actually decent Cyberverse figures? Gotta have that Thewadimus Prime.

I know the orange is right for Grapple but that Erector yellow in those promo colors looked great.

It would be great if the did a repaint.

That's because there are predominantly G1 releases. But someday that shoe will be on the other foot, and you'll see that those nit-picky criticisms will not have gone away.
