Cliffjumper is just..underwhelming. That Car is nice, but I made a TR Version already. I’ll see. Wheeljack, im warming up to, hopefully he has his shoulder cannon.
There wasn't a really good picture of Swipe from the back (that I could tell), but trying to make it out via the video, it looks to be the same.......minus battle damage. Do we have any actual proof they are going to be re-released with earth modes?
Cliffjumper is perfection. I just need to find out if he is in scale with old legends class. The figure we have wanted since classics in 2006. We finally finished the 1984 autobots. Earthrise is the toyline I have been craving. Studio Series but G1. Its exactly what I wanted classics/generations to evolve into. While Siege was the toyline of wasted potential, this by far fufills that potential. Gives fans new to collecting modern versions of these characters and allows older collectors like myself much needed updates/definitive versions. When I held siege prime and starscream I just saw two unfinished toys begging for this treatment and it feels great to see these molds become perfection. I am very happy.
I saw a shoulder cannon on him in the video....it was in a close up when Warden showed how the car spoiler becomes the wings.
While most are discussing eartrise, can we have more info on the cyberverse? and most importantly MACADAM???!!!
Ok, so far I am all in. WJ looks about perfect, CJ is better than I could have hoped for and way overdue, OP is just pure win, Astrotrain finally makes sense, and Hoist looks like they took the ugliest Autobot and fixed him. Seriously, G1 Hoist was fugly in the cartoon, and the toy was worse. The Generations release was actually decent, and I got the upgrade kit for him, but ER Hoist is going to take his place. I will definitely be getting SS, but the jury is out on how much I like the mold, current pics are not very complimentary of his design, but the jet mode from the top looks aces! I am not generally one for bases as they took up way too much space seeing as they are intended to go with the Titans, but I definitely see myself having fun with these. My only concern is that they new connectors look like they may not be compatible with the TR releases, which would be a huge shame, but I know Shapeways, Nonnef, and others will make us some adapters. Nonnef is already working on releasing additional tracks for OS, so an adapter wouldn't be much of a stretch. Can anyone with OS and the TR Leaders or Titans confirm whether the ramp connectors are compatible? I am having to wait on getting OS as I just went through a very expensive relocation.
I don't know if they've shown it, but it would have to be, right? They aren't going to just release a cybertron mode Sideswipe without battle damage?
What are the other four besides Optimus, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Shockwave? My thoughts.... Battlemasters: Soundbarrier is a new character, I probably won't get. Micromasters: I will get the Hotrod Patrol and Military Patrol. Deluxes: I will get all of them, they look great. Voyagers: I will get Grapple, but probably not Starscream. Leaders: Optimus? Yes.
This Hoist looks amazing. Hell, it looks better than all 3P MP attempts! No way TT isn't working on a definitive MP, no way. This line is definitely the toys I wanted as a kid, but not anymore. However, my 4 year old will get them all!!!!!
Unless (I think someone else said it too) - it IS siege SS and they just threw him in there to show off how they still work with the new figures/weaponizors, etc -- the guns he has look like the ones coming with Astrotrain.
Ahhh balls, I really don't want to have to buy a load of crap I don't want just to get Macaddam. I already just did that with Skywarp! Grrrr.
This has to be the ultimate form of irony for me! Within the first week I joined this place I said that I wanted to see a Titan-class MegaZarak. Because Headmasters at that time was my focus. And that offended somebody (whose name I still remember) enough to turn it into an issue. Now that I am focusing on getting what I do have graded they announce him! But regardless of that I am glad they are making him. And I will not be surprised if Cheetus (Cheetor) and Dinobot are part of this set.
