Yeah, it's bad because Hubcab was a Scout class figure, which retailed for something like $7.99, and Jazz is a Deluxe class figure, which is a size class up, and who retails for $19.99.

Don't get me wrong, Jazz looks great, but man, do i wish he were the same size as the original deluxes. Would certainly make deciding what figures to keep and what figures to sell easier.

 

In fairness, we did get a lot of Studio Series stuff revealed not long ago at the Canada expo or whatever it was called, and prior to that too, but nothing Siege/Earth Rise related, so it’s only fair that the G1 Generations figures get their chance too

 

I think the reason we're getting so much g1 is just that it sells really well with collectors as well as kids. But I honestly wanna just see some more original designs for figures, even if they aren't for the movie verse

 

Can we hope for anything at London or Paris ComicCon? I’m pretty sure Devy was revealed that time last year.

I was assuming we were at least going to see the product images of the rest of the recently unveiled figures since we just randomly got Shockwave and Scavenger’s recently.

Oh well, at least we’ll have Tonton review’s Bumblebee review soon to keep us busy...hopefully.

This might be a slightly off-topic question, but when are the next few transformers toy related conventions going to be occurring? I'm just a little curious...

I think people aren't looking for 'new' figures per se, but rather they're looking for better updates of the same characters. Either that or they just want new fun figures based on the same characters and designs they know. Just going to disclaim right now that I don't fit into either category, so I'm not totally sure on that front.

And funnily enough, for a line called "War for Cybertron", I'm still waiting on some toy reveals based on the WFC/FoC game designs. Having some animated would be nice, but it's good to see BW is at least getting some form of recognition in the form of MPs. I think.

 

Given how long we had to wait for the leader class I wouldn't hold my breath for the MPM, nor do I want to think how expensive he'd be if Hasbro went for vehicle mode scale :/

As for partsforming: Maybe they could borrow from the cyberverse transformation and get the rear propeller onto his arm via a hinge? But they haven't integrated any weapons since MPM3 so I wouldn't be too hopeful.

I think Hide Shadow is mildly insulted that you suggest he needs to hide his backpack any better


The only aesthetic flaw I could conceive of is trying to get some of the kibble off his forearms but then I don't where you'd put it  

 

Studio Series Brawl and Toyworld Bulldog. Vehicle scale is fairly close, Bulldog being a little small, but robot modes look great together- old vs new!

In the mean time, I’m just going to look forward the wave eight releases. I’ll be getting everything from that wave except Hot Rod and the two Constructicons, so it should be a lot of fun when they come out. I’m looking forward to Shockwave and Megatron especially!

 

All I can think that would make him better would be the arm kibble and the tail. But he already is great, I like him and hide shadow could maybe work for mpm colectors if they are not vehiclescale nuts like I am..

 

Diamond Beach (Jökulsárlón) is INCREDIBLE! Visit it before you die and bring transformers with you!!!



On another note, thank primus for studio series. I’d be done with transformers if it was just Siege. And they abandoned the pre-earth stuff ALREADY? So boring...

Dang, I never realized how much bulldog compresses/expands during his transformation. It kinda looks really cool!
