OK this is exciting. After this year Hasbro can start on repainting or reissuing, or even better getting out of G1.
Love that Scorpy got an upgrade, now Zarak has his own Cerebros! Looks great. Also damn. Time to sell my Henkei seekers! That Voyager is like an upscaled, more articulated version of the old mold. With hope, we can get the big three, and Sunstorm, Acid Storm, and the coneheads.
I mean, just because this is subjectively better it doesn't make the other mold worse? Personally I skipped out on them cause I didn't like the alt mode or fake chest, but honestly if you thought that that would be the best starscream we get for a while that's on you.
I bought every variant of the Siege Seeker and that Earthrise Starscream looks so sick I'll gladly do it all over again. Just becasue that figure looks great doesn't change how awesome the Siege seeker is.
Wow, ER Starscream is almost exactly a blown-up Classics Starscream with improved articulation and proportions. I think it's a testament to how good that's mold's transformation scheme was that it still holds up 13 years later. I just hope that there's a waist swivel and the wings have the ability to fold back.
Starscream looks good, but VERY similar to the Classics toy. I’ll wait until I see what he has to offer beyond being bigger and a few more points of articulation before I’m sold. A more toy-accurate deco would be nice as well. Starscream should be grey, not white.
That Starscream looks fantastic.... but where\'s my goddamn Wheeljack?!! Mega Zarak looks good and I look forward to seeing how Scorponok turns out. I\'m disapointed they didn\'t bring out the new Leader Prime and Grapple. I don\'t think anyone really cares about the 35th anniversary cell-shaded figures now, at least not Prime.As far as Starscream goes I quite like him but I need to see how the alt mode looks. I really love the tetrajet design and I\'m typically not at all interested in Earth-style jets, I just find them incredibly boring and ulgy hence why I\'ve never had any interest in Seeker collecting until Siege. If they inevitabley remake all the seekers again I\'m not buying them, I just want the coneheads at this point so hopefully this Starscream remold will surve as the basis for them. I still plan on grabbing Thundercracker and the Rainmakers at some point to complete my current Seekers. In general thogh, this was really light on the reveals. Is there going to be another panel/breakfast event with more reveals like at SDCC? I can\'t imagine this is all we get.
What, a few years at most? Was that worth hundreds of dollars?I saved money by simply waiting. After Fort Max, it was inevitable Scorponok will come sooner or later. That's why I feel third party has not much use these days, when Hasbro is making toys of the most obscure characters even. Best sell it quick, before the value plummets like it did for Hercules and Giant.
Zarak...hello old friend. The only city-bot I had as a kid and now we I get a modern version to go with my modern TFs. Today is a good day.
Selection bias? Anything that justifies a decision TO or to NOT buy something reinforces a person's perception of their own good judgment. Personally I like but don't love the Tetrajet molds, but I'm glad I have Tetrajet versions of these guys, and I will also buy the Earth versions; I think there are things about each mold that I like better than the other. The Tetras definitely seem to be more poseable.
Zarak is pretty exciting. Completely bored of 84 though, they can keep that Starscream. Give me something more interesting please, if we have to do these characters again reinterpret them please.
