You're quite right, of course, but I do think Siege getting extended to a 5th wave may have caused all involved to revise plans, potentially making that formula redundant. I'm cautiously optimistic we might see something of both those top size classes, but we'll know for sure in about four hours.

 

Plus neither universe nor CW Sunstreakers follow the original figure’s design scheme: hood for the torso (universe at least got that right) and front for the feet. IMO, those are pretty defining features.

 

I'd rather have Energon Mirage/Superlink Shockfleet than some IDW guy.

Better yet, a design that lets you deploy or stow the door wings, to satisfy both those who like the wings and those who prefer the animation design. I always think the wingless animation model looks incomplete.

Well in that case I'd rather have some IDW guy and some Energon guy because looking at them both their designs are fairly similar and one could easily work as a redeco/retool of the other.

 

Fair enough. But I'll wager, given how marginalized comics in general are these days, more people remember Energon Mirage than the IDW guy.


(Not that I'm particularly fond of Energon, either, mind you. But it's only like #3 on my list of most disliked TF franchises.)

 

With earth mode we can have a lancia wheeljack, which is cool. And hastak may make it because they have license from the mp.
So how about Jazz?
His earth mode is a porsche.
When hastak make him, porsche will sue them.
