Commander Class - Grimlock & Sludge
Leader Class - Slag & Snarl
    Voyager - Swoop

The POTP Dinobots were way to small, we need some mini Gigasaurs in the third line.

I wanna see a full CW style Combiner team this go around, sure we had Lancer and Greenlight to complete Orithia/ Female Autotbots, but an entire team would be awesome.

I really think I\'d like to see the Trainbots get modernized. Rename Raiden into Railracer, slap American style names on the rest, and have either two Deluxes or a Deluxe and a Legion form the torso to keep compatability (similar technique could be used for Monstructor/Dinoking)

Tbh, while I couldn't care less about the new Prime (as MP-10 serves as my Optimus on my shelf), I'm happy that they're making a 'proper' voyager earth mode Prime (say that five times fast) for everyone else.

I'm super excited for Grapple though! I was originally considering getting the RTS one, but the combined aspects of the unwieldy crane being attached to his arm and the price, safe to say that I'm going with this guy when he comes out.

I'm also interested in seeing how the smaller base bots turn out.

Hot Rod patrol seems cool too.

Is it true that they're pricing leaders at $60 for the next line? Because I don't think that bodes well for Voyagers and Deluxes.

Why do people keep saying a commander grimlock? Grimlock is mildly bigger than Optimus, he is nowhere near Jetfire size

No idea where you heard that but as far as we all know that’s not true and prices are staying where they are

Sorry to disappoint you, but a reliable leak a while back, couldn't remember the name of the next Commander, so someone as Popular as Grimlock, it is not.

Grimlock would be slightly taller than Prime, Most Likely a Leader with a Throne Base, Weapons, and a Crown.

Exactly. Sludge is the only one I really want remade in Voyager size, but I could live with Slag too.

I've seen a few people pine for a Commander Tidal Wave. I'd love to see Lugnut though; have his character cross continuities like Barricade has!

Unless they release the dinobots in the next line. The Dinobots deserve to be good, their POTP figures are just way too small, and they're not the best looking.

I will say that when Generations does take a hard focus to Beast Wars/Unicron Trilogy/etc, that I hope they keep a similar design mantra to Studio Series/Siege, so we don't have a repeat of-

"Here's the characters you want, but some of them are terribly out of scale with each other"
"Here's the characters you want, but they all have a forced gimmick that compromises the design"
"Here's the characters you want, but there's some random twist on the aesthetic"

and so on. So that fans get the "definitive" one the first time.

Reliable leak you say? I'm interested.

They "weren't the best" period. Their proportions were awful, namely Slag's excuse of a frill, and Sludge just being tiny. Swoop was fine, actually, bar the combining gimmick (just, why?) and Snarl was okay.

I completely agree. Look, The prime wars trilogy, while serviceable, were all gimmick based.

Sacrificing basic stuff for gimmicks is one of my biggest pet peeves in terms of Transformers.

Combiner Wars sacrificed good weapons or lack thereof , especially the poor Constructicons! Glad Taktom fixed that, at least.

Titans Return sacrificed the hell out of articulation (and good guns again, for the most part). Many figures had waist swivel only because transformation necessitated it.

Power of The Primes brought back the weapons issue from CW with a vengeance. And Leader Class figs, once again, had no waist.

Siege feels like a redemption; we have good accessories back, we have good articulation back, and everyone has 5mm ports for days!

I also love how Micromasters are Micromasters, Mini-cons, and Target Masters rolled into one, and done well to boot!

To small? Where is small, and how does one go to it?

Maybe you're right. I think what we need is all Dinobots at Titan class, it's really the only way.

I have a hunch, that you're being sarcastic. In which case, yes, the PoTP Dinobots were WAY too small. If we're going by G1/ Cartoon standards (which wfc is trying to emulate) Then They should all be leaders (maybe not Swoop, he could be a voyager myabe) minimum. Optimus' antennae barely reach Grimlock's pecks, so I'd say they need to be big boys.

Siege Ultra Magnus height in Robot Mode, and the top of Siege Jetfire's Cockpit in Dino-mode.

What if they attempt Volcanicus again, but with properly scaled Dinobots? That would be interesting to see done.

Yeah, I'd say that's about right. Powermaster Prime is Grimlock's height in the Marvel comics, and in the cartoon, UM and Grimlock were the same as well.

Its a super long shot, but i think it would be neat to get a weaponizer Autobot X, really get into the mish mash aesthetic.

I mean, a real T-rex was only 3-6 meters tall, so Deluxe feels about right for a real world-inspired Grimlock. Making him Voyager would be just about cartoon-accurate, putting him on par with Optimus.

    Realism in Transformers? Ha.

Anyway though, the Dinobots are supposed to be massively oversized dinosaurs.

They're all taller than Prime. Except maybe Swoop.
