I would rather expect them to do a Seeker combiner vs Sky Reign and Piranacon vs Computron. Maybe eventually Raiden vs Monstructor, Liokaiser vs Landcross and Megatronia vs Orthia.

 

If they ever do a 6th combiner set I'd expect they would use at least some of the bots already in the game so Galvatronus and Sky Reign would be a lot more likely than Piranacon/Computron or some of the others you mentioned.

 

The most obvious next set of combiners would be Computron and Monstructor, IMO.

 

They usually introduce one gestalt every calendar year (only made 2 in the first one), so we have a long time until the next one, whoever they're planning to add. They can easily bring a whole new team of 5-6 bots over that time.

But I've totally forgotten that Galvatronus has his own team now instead of just "Cyclonus and whoever he finds". So, I guess, he would make more sence than a seeker combiner.

I believe Piranacon is more likely than Monstructor because he actually has a modern toy that, being an exclusive, would benefit from some extra publicity. But from the story point Deszaras desperately needs some of his own troops and from the balance point it's hard to find 5-6 aquatic Autobots (Nautica, Riptide, Waverider, obscure Pretender Splashdown, maybe Longtooth, who's know by his Pretender shell instead of his inner robot and his vehicle mode, Manta Ray from G2, Paddles, who they're not adding no matter what, Broadside, who would be better to be introduced together with Tidal Wave, Depth Charge, who should come with Beast Wars Rampage and Alana as a weird choice out of nowhere, since they've already mentioned her in the game).

 

I can't level all of the combiners I currently have and have little interest in trying to get another one. That being said, Piranacon does seem the most likely for the cons. Monstructor seems pretty low on the list, with it likely we'd see Liokaiser before him.

 

Yeah, the amount of CW upgrade spark is piddly considering I have all Decepticon combiners unlocked at 3*. I have Bruticus at level 10, Predaking at 9, and the rest are all completely un-upgraded. About 10k spark away from Predaking #10.

But if I ever unlock a 4* version of one of them all of the sudden I have *ANOTHER* ten levels to go. Like, that'll clearly never happen for me. Not even with a single combiner.

Don’t worry, when you unlock a 4* combiner, it’s just upgrading your 3*. So if you unlock say 4* Bruticus, he’ll already be level 10. You won’t have to start over.

I'm aware but the spark cost of 11-20 is obviously going to be massive. Considering where I'm currently at with my combiners, if you added my level 10 and my level 9 together I'd be at... maybe level 14 on a 4*.

Like I said, a maxed out 4* combiner will never happen for me. I'll never have that kinda spark.

Yeah, the added levels are a mother to get through! And I do agree, combiner spark is way harder to come across than most would like.

 

So Dead End teleports...and Skywarp does not...

 

Yeah lots of stuff are weird like that but to be fair bouncing wasn"t a thing before Kup/Dead End.

 

Skywarp can still do something teleporting-related with a G1 core.

 

With his G1 core he teleports back to where he was a few seconds ago every fifteen seconds. Awesome core on him.

 

Where do G1 cores come from?

 

Same as normal cores, dupes of transformers from crystals. Cores specific to a transformer come from dupes of that specific character. The higher star rating of the dupe, the greater chance for a higher quality core.

Exception being the Prime cores which require the 5,000 shards each which are only obtainable through events.

 

And Tracks has smokescreen, and Smokescreen does not.
